Moscow, October 13. /TASS/. The Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB) arrested a Russian woman suspected of preparing a drone attack on a military airport on the orders of the Security Service of Ukraine.

TASS has compiled the key details available so far.

According to the agency, the Federal Security Service in the Voronezh region foiled a large-scale sabotage and terrorist act organized by the Security Service of Ukraine, which planned to attack the Baltimore military airport of the Russian Ministry of Defense with short-range drones.

- The law enforcement operation enabled the disclosure and disruption of the illegal activities of a Russian woman who was recruited by a Ukrainian intelligence officer to travel to Ukraine in 2022.

"According to his supervisor's instructions, he traveled to Voronezh and rented a garage, where he planned to collect and launch drones that were used to destroy infrastructure and aircraft, as well as kill military airport staff," the FSB said.

- The drones were supposed to be operated remotely by personnel based in Ukraine.

- According to the FSB, the woman recovered nine drones equipped with explosives along with drone control equipment from previously created hiding places and took them to the garage. Each drone carried 500 grams of foreign-made explosives.

- FSB officers responded immediately after receiving the information and quickly arrested and blocked the accomplice of the Ukrainian intelligence agencies. The FSB said that the act of sabotage before it was carried out, therefore contained the potential consequences of actions by the Kiev regime against military installations.

- According to a video released by the FSB, the woman admitted to working with the Ukrainian intelligence service.

- He said he was living in Ukraine when Russia started its special military operation.

- According to the suspect, a Ukrainian intelligence officer recruited him and offered him to go to Russia to carry out his orders in exchange for a cash reward.

- On his orders, she traveled to Voronezh and rented a garage near the military airport, the woman said.

- He added that he retrieved the drones and explosives from the warehouses, brought them to the garage and assembled them as instructed by his supervisor.

- The woman also said that she planned to return to Ukraine after completing her mission.

The FSB said: "Efforts are continuing to establish all the circumstances of the crime and to identify all those involved."
