Arjan Ambassador - Provinces Group; Zahra Amiri*: International Rural Women's Day is a valuable opportunity to protect the irreplaceable role of women who, in the heart of villages, are the pillars of production, food security and sustainability of society.

Women whose role is not limited to agriculture and animal husbandry, but have an effective and decisive presence in various economic, social, cultural and environmental fields.

Rural women are guardians of native knowledge, environmentalists, promoters of local culture and identity, and drivers of household and community economy.

Their tireless efforts in farms, ranches, handicrafts and social activities show a clear manifestation of capability, responsibility and sacrifice; Efforts that an important part of the production cycle and life in the villages depend on.

Despite this wide role, strengthening the capacities of rural and nomadic women requires continuous attention, targeted planning and providing them with fair access to opportunities for growth and development.

Improving technical and specialized skills, developing entrepreneurship training, facilitating access to resources and sales markets, and strengthening the presence of women in local decision-making processes are among the measures that can provide the basis for more use of the abilities and capacities of this valuable group.

From this point of view, empowering rural women is not just a support measure, but a strategic investment to strengthen food security, reduce poverty, increase the economic resilience of households and achieve sustainable development.

As more opportunities are provided for education, economic participation and the effective presence of women in the decision-making arenas, the field for the flourishing of village capacities and the improvement of the quality of life of local communities will be wider.

While congratulating the International Day of Rural and Nomadic Women to all the hardworking women of my land, especially the capable colleagues in the field of rural promotion and development, I emphasize the necessity of paying attention to their demands, capacities and abilities.
