Qalibaf: America must be punished and made to understand it must accept our rightful demands

Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, in his second video dialogue with the public, said: America must be punished, change its behavior, and understand that it must accept the rightful demands of the Iranian nation.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Council, in the second video conversation with the people, while paying attention to the arrival of the autumn season, said: "I congratulate all dear students in Mehram, the season of science and knowledge." It must be beautiful days for all of them; After a period of vacation, they are present in schools and universities today. God willing, may your family stay warm and I wish you all a successful academic year.

He added: In advance, I would like to congratulate Hazrat Zainab, peace and blessings of God be upon him, on the happy birthday, especially to the hardworking and selfless nurses, my brothers and sisters; Especially those who shone brightly, both during the holy defense period, which was the holy defense week at the beginning of this month, and in these two recent imposed wars, the 12-day war and the 40-day war, who honestly served bravely and were selflessly in the field.

Qalibaf emphasized: We must believe in God's presence on the battlefield to fight bravely and negotiate with the powerful enemy in order to create lasting deterrence. We must become so strong that America, the world and the region understand that they cannot achieve their own goals. That's when we reach a sustainable deterrence and we must prove this power to all regional and global actors so that no one dares to attack us.

He went on to say: We fought against Saddam's Baathist regime in eight years of holy defense. Of course, we paid a price, we suffered, but in the end, for several decades, no one dared to attack our beloved country, Iran. This is a state of inhibition; That is, no one should have the courage to attack us, and anyone who comes up with this stupid idea, should look at the experience and understand and cannot fight with Iran.

The Chairman of the Islamic Council pointed out: getting stronger is not only from the military aspect. Deterrence has variables and naturally an important priority is the military priorities we saw; For example, our firepower, our offensive power, and our air defenses increased greatly between the 12-day war and this recent war, became more effective, and became more massive. Especially in air defense, there was a serious difference compared to before, and the enemy suffered serious injuries; From drones to F-35, you saw the effects. In addition to these, the strength of the resistance front, the nobility on the Strait of Hormuz, national cohesion and the hard core of 90 million people, our social and economic resilience, having a clear vision, etc. are among the components of deterrence.

While pointing to Iran's deterrence power, he reminded: Our goal is to create deterrence through becoming stronger and to establish this strengthening in the mind of the enemy. For this purpose, we both fight and negotiate; That is, we must fight with all our might at the necessary time, every chance we get, we must improve our preparation and whenever we achieve a military victory in the field, we must turn that victory into a political victory and consolidate it and turn it into a document of defeat for the enemy.

Ghalibaf further said: We must get the points we need to become stronger so that we can protect our own interests, increase our resources and buy the necessary time to be able to make ourselves stronger. Against the cycle of war, negotiation and peace, we create a new equation, which is war, negotiation and deterrence. This cycle ends whenever we become strong. Before signing the memorandum, I said that the Americans are not fulfilling their obligations. For this reason, we prepared the memorandum in two stages, because we did not trust them. That is, first we fought well and achieved a strategic superiority, then we forced America to accept the understanding and we imposed a document of defeat on the enemy that the whole world said that Iran won the war.

While pointing to our beloved country's allies against the enemy, he emphasized: This helped our military forces to become stronger, Hezbollah of Lebanon became stronger, and with this understanding, we found enough opportunities and resources to strengthen our own power components. When we say that we both fight and negotiate, we do not mean that we fight endlessly or negotiate forever; Rather, what we mean is that we fight to make the enemy desperate and force him to give in to the rightful demands of our nation.

Referring to the recent proposal of the American side to end the war, the Speaker of the Islamic Council said: We have said before and we will say again that the American president made commitments and now he has violated them and broken his promise. America should be punished and change its behavior and it should be understood that it should accept the rightful demands of the Iranian people.

In the end, he directly addressed the people and added: Dear people of Iran! In the path of creating deterrence, we need the unity of the word around the vertical axis of the revolution tent, that is, the supreme leadership of the revolution. We need maximum social cohesion. These are vital for us. We must win in all these fields, that is, in the military field, the field of service, especially the livelihood that is realized with the help of all of us to the government in this direction, and also in the field of diplomacy, we can, God willing, turn the hardships that our people endure into sweet days and a bright and promising future.
