Shakeri, Former MP: Banking System Plays Key Role in Current Inflation
A former MP says the government must strictly oversee banks' money creation, as the banking management system plays a major role in shaping current inflation.
Referring to the two wars imposed on the country, Aqbal Shakri, a representative of the Islamic Council of Iran, said: these wars caused heavy losses to the country and led to the martyrdom of great personalities, including our dear leader, the armed forces, scientists, senior managers of the country and innocent people, but thanks to the people's resistance in the past 7 months and the decisive responses of the armed forces, now the page has once again returned to the country's authority; So that in each of these wars, the aggressor parties requested a ceasefire.
A member of the 11th Parliament's Civil Commission stated: "The people stood up for the work of the country during this period, and the armed forces also raised their capabilities to higher levels." Among the manifestations of this power is the targeting of the assets belonging to the American regime in the region and beyond, hence we can no longer expect that Iran's response to any attack will be limited, because any new action can be accompanied by multiple damages for the other party.
Referring to the pressures and restrictions imposed by the United States against Iran, the member of parliament added: These pressures are more than a sign of the power of the United States, they are an expression of its desperation. An issue that is emphasized by leading political, military and economic experts in the world.
The representative of the people of Tehran, Ray, Islamshahr and Shemiranat said in the 11th parliament: America is stuck in a difficult situation with the actions it has taken and is facing difficulties in determining the way forward. Of course, there is a possibility of miscalculation and imposing another war on the Iranian nation, but in such a situation, the people and the armed forces of the country can impose a heavier defeat on the other side than in the past.
Stating that the government, senior officials of the system and the Supreme National Security Council support the armed forces on the one hand, this political activist said: "The demand of the people is to negotiate from the position of power and express the demands from the position of authority." Such an approach can be a source of confidence and hope for the people, so officials should not retreat from their position of power.
Referring to the demands of the people from the authorities after the recent wars, Shakri said: One of the most important demands of the people is the trial of the two criminal regimes and especially their leaders in international courts.
The representative of the 11th session of the Majlis stated: "The justice and pursuit of the blood of the country's martyrs, from the martyred leader to the infants, the children of the martyred Minab, the admirals, the people of Lamard, the martyrs of the technological and academic fields, and other citizens who lost their lives in these wars are among the serious demands of the people, and the authorities must realize this importance."
A member of the 11th Parliament's Construction Commission stated that the other demand of the people is bloodlust for the martyred leader and martyrs of the country from the resistance front, and emphasized that following up on these demands should be taken into consideration by the authorities along with supporting the armed forces and maintaining the authority of the country.
Stating that the behavior and stance of the officials in difficult situations affects the general spirit of the society, this political activist said: the more the officials behave more authoritatively and the people feel that the country is in a position of power, the resilience of the society will increase and the hope of the people will be strengthened.
Referring to the President's speech at the United Nations, Shakri considered it a step towards strengthening the general spirit of the society and said: When people see the decisive and authoritative positions of the officials, they find more hope for the country's ability to overcome difficult situations. Therefore, maintaining this approach in official positions is very important.
Emphasizing the need to pay serious attention to economic issues, the member of parliament, Edor, stated: fueling economic pressures is one of the axes pursued by hostile regimes; Therefore, the authorities should use all their power to overcome these conditions and reduce the livelihood pressure on the people.
A member of the Construction Commission of the 11th Parliament stated that providing basic and needed items at a reasonable price and preventing excessive price increases is one of the main demands of the people. Only about 30% of inflation and economic problems are caused by war, and the management of the remaining 70% depends on the performance of managers and domestic policies.
Shakri added: The realization of this goal requires round-the-clock and jihadi work, accurate, targeted and intelligent monitoring of the production and distribution process of goods, and the authorities should provide the basis for price stability and people's access to the required goods by identifying the weak points in the supply and distribution chain and effective monitoring of the market.
Member of Parliament Edvar stated that the performance of banks is one of the factors influencing the increase in inflation, and stated that the government should have serious supervision and control over banks, especially in the field of money creation, because the banking management system plays an important role in the formation of current inflation.
A member of the Construction Commission of the 11th Parliament said: 50% of the share of internal factors in inflation, i.e. 50% of the 70% that is managed by internal managers, is related to the performance of banks, therefore, reforming banking mechanisms and effective monitoring of money creation should be on the government's agenda.
Emphasizing the necessity of coherence in internal positions, Shakri said: the president and economic experts should refrain from comments and discussions that are taken from a position of weakness, and the people who hold the podium should not fuel the intensification of concerns in the society by creating differences or raising internal differences.
Referring to the media pressure of the United States and the Zionist regime, the member of the parliament Edar said: Another axis of the pressure is the attempt to start a cognitive war, meaning that the other side tries to change the place of the main and secondary issues and to influence the public opinion by creating ambiguity and anxiety.
