Russian diesel fuel production capacity sufficient for export - Novak
The Deputy Prime Minister said: The production capacity of diesel fuel is twice the demand of the domestic market
Moscow, October 16. /TASS/. Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week Forum: Russia's diesel fuel production capacity is more than enough to supply the domestic market and deliver exports, even considering the rotation of refineries.
"Diesel fuel production capacity is twice the demand of the domestic market," Novak said. Even considering the maintenance work of individual units, it is enough; It is enough to secure the domestic market and support the export supply according to the figures we said earlier.
Novak noted: These figures are slightly lower this year considering the revolving facilities, but overall there is enough fuel for the domestic market and exports. He added: "Any attack, if it leads to the shutdown of the primary equipment for repairs, will negatively affect the output of the product.
