Avatar brand or Avatar, the innovative Chinese car manufacturer that benefits from the powerful support of Changan and the world's largest battery manufacturer, CATL, has officially unveiled its plan to enter the European market in 2027. The brand, which has focused its initial targeting on Norway and Spain, plans to challenge traditional European competitors with a combination of modern designs, advanced electric platforms and ultra-luxury SUVs.

Amir Masoud Abedin: Avtar unveiled its European development strategy during the Paris Auto Show. Although the official entry of this brand to the Green Continent is planned for 2027, its infrastructural activities such as sales networks, after-sales services and parts supply have started in the target countries. The presence of two Avatar 06T and Avatar 07L models in the first step is a serious sign for European automakers; A step that will be completed with the introduction of 6 new models within 3 years.

The dream of a competitor for Maybach and Rolls-Royce with the T09 concept

One of the most important events of Avatar's presence at the Paris Auto Show was the initial presentation of the T09 concept; Flagship and full-size SUV, the production version of which is designed to compete directly with cars such as Mercedes GLS Maybach and Rolls Royce Cullinan (and domestic competitors such as Le Auto L9 and Zucker 9X).

According to information leaked in China, this luxury giant will be equipped with EREV hybrid engines. The most powerful production version uses a 2-liter turbo engine along with three electric motors (one in the front and two in the back), the total output power of which reaches more than 800 horsepower. Although the final specifications of the European version have not yet been confirmed, it is clear that the Avatar has prepared an extraordinary technical performance for this luxury giant.

European spirit in the body of Chinese technology

The remarkable thing about Avtar is that its global design center is located in Munich, Germany, and the present designers (such as Nader Faqihzadeh, an Iranian-born designer) in Munich create the appearance of the cars in collaboration with the Shanghai studio team. This has caused the products of this Chinese brand, unlike many of its compatriot competitors, to have fully matured, modern and harmonious lines with the taste of European buyers.

Avatar's International Director, Justin Lee, emphasized in Paris that Avatar was born with a global identity from day one. Referring to the three-year plan to release 6 new products in the medium SUV, large SUV and shooting brake classes, he emphasized that entering Norway and Spain will be only the beginning of a long-term path in Europe.

Smart service network and development in more than 100 countries

Avtar is currently present in more than 70 countries and has sold more than 280,000 cars so far. The next goal of this company is to reach 110 countries by 2030. To properly support European buyers, Avtar has established a dedicated spare parts distribution logistics system and comprehensive roadside assistance in Europe to provide after-sales service and full support throughout the vehicle's life cycle in cooperation with local representatives.
