Manavin Must Turn Isfahan’s Talent into Economic Opportunity

Isfahan – The Governor of Isfahan, stressing the need to support young talent, said the national creative industries event Manavin must link universities with the market to foster the growth of innovative businesses and retain elites.

According to Mehr reporter, Mehdi Jamalinejad said at the press conference of the Manvin national creative industries event with the media in the presence of Abdul Hassan Bahrami, the chairman of the event, at the governor's office of Isfahan, that Manvin is an opportunity to redefine Isfahan's economic capacities and move towards industries that, in addition to creating value and creating employment, are more compatible with the environment and present a more diverse picture of the province's capabilities.

Referring to the scientific, academic and innovative capacities of Isfahan, he added: the economic identity of this province should not be defined only by heavy and polluting industries; Because Isfahan has university support, expert manpower, creative talents, and extensive capacities in the field of knowledge-based industries and soft technologies, which can contribute more to the production of wealth and sustainable development.

Stating that Manvin is designed beyond a one-time event, the governor of Isfahan clarified: the goal is to create an effective link between the university, economy, governance, student groups and creative and innovative activists so that the ideas and abilities of the elites are on the way to enter the market and become income-generating businesses.

Jamalinejad continued: One of the important issues in this direction is providing access to real markets for elites. So that talents and valuable ideas do not remain behind the closed doors of the market and the owners of ideas can convert their capacities in the form of products and services that can be offered to the economy.

Emphasizing the importance of diversifying the economic foundations of the province, he noted that, in addition to creating new job opportunities, the development of creative industries can provide the basis for producing more added value, strengthening entrepreneurship and moving towards economic activities more compatible with the environment.

The governor of Isfahan listed areas such as game making, animation, soft technologies, knowledge-based industries and innovation clusters among the fields of interest in this approach and said: the capacity of creative industries is not limited to handicrafts and traditional products, but design, ideation and specialized knowledge can also form an important part of the economic value of products.

Referring to the experience of various industries in the world, Jamalinejad said: In some products, the value of design and creativity can exceed the value of the raw materials and the physical construction of the product. This shows that attention to knowledge, design and innovation can create new ways to increase the economic value of products and presence in competitive markets.

Referring to the events held in Isfahan province, he added: In addition to the programs related to tourism and construction projects, various events have been held in different areas, and Manvin is also in line with the efforts to expand the new economic capacities of the province.

The governor of Isfahan emphasized the necessity of providing a platform for the activity and permanence of talents in the province and stated: The future of Isfahan and even the future of the world depends on the level of attention paid to the elites, providing opportunities for the flourishing of talents and creating opportunities for the effective activity of creative forces. Conditions must be provided so that the talents of the province can grow in a suitable environment and use their capacities inside and outside the borders.

Referring to the importance of establishing the secretariat of the national creative industries event in Isfahan, Jamalinejad said: decentralization from Tehran and transferring the centrality of such an event to Isfahan is an opportunity to strengthen the role of the province in the development of creative industries and the formation of a network of innovative businesses.

He added: In this direction, it is important to establish a relationship between idea owners, scientific centers, investors, companies and target markets, and the presence of buyers and international companies should also be provided so that the capacities of creative industries of the province can find the possibility of supply and competition in wider markets.

Referring to the importance of supporting creative businesses, Governor of Isfahan noted: Manvin can reach its goal when the connection between knowledge production, idea formation, product development and entering the market is strengthened and the result is visible in the form of sustainable businesses, entrepreneurship and wealth production.

In the end, Jamalinejad emphasized: creative industries can become one of the important paths of Isfahan's economic development; The path where innovation and knowledge are placed next to entrepreneurship, environmental considerations and the capacities of the young generation and provide a basis for redefining the economic future of the province.
