Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs: Iran is ready for any scenario
In an interview with Al-Jadeed news channel, Khatibzadeh added that in case of a new attack against Iran, Tehran will change the balance of power in the region.
Iran's deputy foreign minister stated today (Friday) that Iran is trying to avoid a new conflict with the United States, but is ready for any scenario if a military confrontation occurs.
According to Arjan's ambassador, Saeed Khatibzadeh, Iran's deputy minister of foreign affairs, said: "Most of the efforts that Iran makes through diplomatic channels and with the cooperation of mediators are aimed at preventing war." However, we are prepared for various scenarios in the event of a new military confrontation with the United States."
In an interview with Al-Jadeed news channel, Khatibzadeh added that in case of a new attack against Iran, Tehran will change the balance of power in the region.
Iran's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs also stated that Washington is misusing the Strait of Hormuz as a tool in its confrontation with Tehran. After the existing threats are eliminated, the situation of this strategically important waterway can be improved.
The Strait of Hormuz is still one of the most vital routes for the transfer of oil and liquid natural gas to global markets. The threat to the freedom of navigation in this strategic waterway, in the midst of the American war against Iran, poses additional risks to international trade and energy security.
Regarding the situation in Lebanon, Khatibzadeh also emphasized that Lebanon's Hezbollah makes its decisions independently; Among the decisions that may lead to the resumption of hostilities against the Zionist regime. Tehran respects the sovereignty of Lebanon and does not interfere in the internal affairs of this country.
