Rasht - The Director General of Islamic Propaganda of Gilan issued a message and expressed his condolences on the death of "Ayatollah Zainul Abdin Ghorbani", the representative of the religious jurist and the former Friday imam of Rasht and one of the prominent scholars of the province.

According to Ambassador Arjan Hojat-ul-Islam, Sajjad Sarafraz, Director General of Islamic Propaganda of Gilan Province, issued a condolence message following the passing away of Ayatollah Zainul Abdin Ghorbani, a religious scholar and pious jurist.

The death of the religious scholar and pious jurist, Hazrat Ayatollah Ghorbani, the former Friday imam of Rasht and one of the prominent academic and seminary personalities of Gilan province, caused great sadness and impact.

That wise scholar spent his honorable life in the path of studying and promoting Islamic sciences, publishing the teachings of the Holy Quran and Ahl al-Bayt Infallibility and Purity (peace be upon him), and serving the noble people of Gilan province, and his scientific works and religious services are part of the valuable heritage of the seminaries of this country.

While expressing my condolences for this calamity to the supreme scholars and clergy, seminaries, the noble people of Gilan province and the deceased's house, I pray for the Almighty God's mercy for the deceased Saeed and patience and great reward for the honorable survivors.
