Hamedan Artists Take Part in the Second National Felt Exhibition in Shahrekord

The Deputy for Handicrafts at the Hamedan Province Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department announced that three artists from the province will take part in the second national felt exhibition and festival in Shahrekord. Hamedani artists in felt-making and traditional dyeing have been introduced at this national event.

The Deputy Handicrafts Director of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Hamedan province announced the presence of three artists of this province in the second national felt exhibition and festival in Shahrekord and said: Hamadan artists have been introduced in the fields of traditional felting and dyeing in this national event.

According to the report of Aria Heritage reporter, Mohammad Reza Khalji announced this news on Thursday, October 23, and stated that the second national felt exhibition and festival has been opened in Shahrekord and will be held from October 21 to 24 at the permanent exhibition site of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province.

The Deputy Handicrafts Director of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Hamedan Province added: In this event, Fariba Sabrian Ranjbar in the field of felting, Fatemeh Saberi in the field of traditional dyeing and Shahnaz Mohaghegh in the field of felting were introduced from Hamedan province.

Pointing to the importance of the presence of handicraft artists of the province in national events, he said: participation in specialized exhibitions and national festivals provides an opportunity to introduce the capacities and capabilities of artists, to familiarize the audience with different fields of handicrafts and to pay more attention to traditional arts and native skills.

The second national felt exhibition and festival, focusing on the art of felt and its related capacities, will host enthusiasts and activists in this field from October 21 to 24 at the permanent exhibition site of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province.
