The Wall Street Journal reported that the US aircraft carrier George Washington is conducting tests, repairs and maintenance activities in the Arabian Sea.

According to this report, the aircraft carrier George H. W. Bush is also present in the region and the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt is on the way to the region.

Meanwhile, published reports indicate the possibility of strengthening the US military presence in the Middle East; So, if the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt and the Makin Island amphibious assault ship arrive in the region, the formation of the American fleet can reach three aircraft carriers and two amphibious battle groups.

According to these reports, both the Roosevelt and Makin Island ships are on their way to the Middle East; A movement that, if realized, will expand the American naval presence in the region.
