Shahrekord – The Deputy for Technology Development and Smart Systems at the Roads and Road Transport Organization stressed the need to consolidate smart systems in road management centers.

According to Mehr reporter, Hamzeh Zakari, during a trip to Shahrekord on Wednesday evening and at a meeting to review information technology infrastructure and intelligence of the general administration, said: the road management center should become the think tank of the general administration so that managers can check the status of different departments with access to information and related systems and make management decisions with faster access to information.

Pointing to the necessity of organizing the organization's software, he added: the dispersion of the systems in the field of roads, transportation, and contracts makes it difficult to have integrated access to information; Therefore, organizing software and providing the possibility of access and reporting from different systems in the road management center is one of the important issues in the path of intelligentization.

Appreciating the actions of the experts of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari in the field of information technology and road management, the vice president of technology development and intelligence of the road transport organization stated: The reports presented in this meeting show the technical follow-up and concern of the province, and strengthening the continuous communication with the specialized offices of the organization can provide the basis for more effective follow-up of needs and solving problems.

Emphasizing the importance of providing specialized human resources in the field of information technology and the road management center, Zakari continued: the lack of qualified and specialized personnel is one of the serious challenges in the headquarters and general departments, and the existing capacities, including the specialized capacity of universities, should be used to help meet these needs.

He also emphasized the necessity of maintaining trained forces in their specialized field and said: The forces that are trained to work in road management centers should be employed in the same specialized field. Because the weakening of each specialized department can affect the performance of the collection.

The Vice President of Technology Development and Intelligence of the Highways and Road Transport Organization pointed out the importance of the security of information technology infrastructures: the recommendations and instructions in the field of passive defense and system security must be carefully implemented, and the general departments must also submit their performance reports to specialized offices on a regular basis.

Zakari considered increasing the stability of operational systems as one of the other priorities in this field and emphasized the necessity of continuous follow-up of the performance status of the systems and reducing disruption in service delivery.

In another part of his speech, referring to the regulatory tasks of the organization in the field of transportation, he emphasized the necessity of planning the general departments for the implementation of legal duties, strengthening interaction with the police and effective use of supervisory capacities.

Referring to the supportive approach of the organization's management to the general administrations of the provinces, Zakari said: The approach of the headquarters is to support the general administrations and help to solve their problems, and the issues raised in this meeting will be followed in the framework of communication with specialized offices and following up on the needs of the province.
