The mountaineering team of Fajr Arak club, marking Law Enforcement Week and within the framework of the Simorgh program, succeeded in conquering the peak of Shahan Kuh.
According to the report of Varzeh Se and quoted by Ambassador Arjan, the mountaineering team of Fajar Arak Club went to Fereydonshahr region of Isfahan province on October 16 in a program to celebrate Faraja week, and after navigating the mountain paths and passing through the rocky and technical parts of the path, they reached Shahankoh peak at 10:30 in the morning.
This program was implemented with the aim of developing sports and mountaineering activities and celebrating Faraja week in the form of Simorgh project. After leaving Arak, the team members visited the Ponezar waterfall on the way to reach the area and then, by settling in the predicted place in the Shahankoh area, they made preparations for the ascent.
The main climb started at 4 am. After crossing the Ardeshir Valley and continuing the route in South Heliz, the climbers left the valley according to the terrain conditions and guide signs and took the route to the eastern side of the peak. The roughness of the route, stony sections and significant slope in some parts made it necessary to observe safety principles and proper physical fitness.
After reaching the horse saddle and the beginning of the eastern ridge, the team continued to climb the rocky ridge after evaluating the conditions of the route and after navigating this section and entering the pass leading to the peak, they succeeded in conquering Shahankoh at 10:30 in the morning. All team members reached the peak in perfect health.
During their visit to the peak, the team members honored the memory of the martyrs of Faraja, the sacrificers and warriors of this group and dedicated this climb to the martyrs of Faraja by recording souvenir pictures.
After a short rest, the landing operation started from Pakub route. Some parts of the route required more caution due to the presence of sand and gravel and the roughness of the ground. Following safety considerations, the team members returned to the location around 4:00 PM after crossing the rocky and valley paths.
The climbing team of Fajr Arak Club, after finishing the program and recuperating, took the route back to Arak and reached the destination at 20:30 on October 18.
Climbing Shahankoh in the framework of sports programs of Fajr Arak Mountaineering Club on the occasion of Faraja week, in addition to fulfilling the sports goal, provided an opportunity to honor the memory of Faraja martyrs and emphasize the role of sports in improving physical fitness and strengthening collective morale.
