76% of mothers included in the population youth plan are still waiting in line for car delivery, and there is no news of the car manufacturers fulfilling their commitment. The Court of Accounts announced that more than 1.8 million mothers were not allocated cars.
According to the family and youth population protection law, domestic car manufacturers are required to allocate 50% of the capacity of their car sales plans to mothers with two or more children. However, reports show that this law has not been implemented properly and a large number of applicants are still waiting for their car to be delivered. This issue is a clear violation of the rights foreseen for this segment of the society and the failure to fulfill the protective goals of the legislator.
A long line of mothers waiting for the car
From the beginning of the Youth Population Law in 1400 until the end of 1404, out of a total of 2 million 464 thousand 240 qualified applicants, only 578 thousand 903 cars were assigned to mothers. This statistic shows that more than 1 million 885 thousand 337 people, equivalent to 76.5% of all applicants, are still waiting in the car delivery queue.
