Special Feature on Heading Power Across All Lines: Gol Gohar's Aerial Formula for First Champions League Goal!

Gol Gohar Sirjan is one of the teams with tall players and header specialists in every position on the pitch, and in this match it can unlock their path to the first Asian goal.

According to "Varzeh Se", in the frames of Golgohar Sirjan's last training session before the Asian Games, one tactical point was visible above all else, the technical staff's insistence on accurate sending from the flanks, combined movements to create space on the sides and long jumps for final headers. The evidence suggests that the Sirjanis have wrapped the version of scoring against Al Muharraq in Bahrain on aerial battles and physical superiority.

In intensive Asian tournaments, especially in group stage matches, teams often enter the field with a cautious, compact and low-risk structure. In such a situation where closing the spaces in the middle channel ties up the game, free kicks and targeted passes to the penalty box are the most efficient tactical solutions to break the compact defense and low blocks, a weapon that Golgohar has particularly focused on in recent days' training.

Aerial superiority is not limited to having tall strikers, the quality of passing and the timing of attackers' runs play a key role in the success of this strategy. The presence of pieces like Ahmadreza Zindarooh, who has the ability to send accurate and cut balls in free kicks and corners, turns wavy passes into a potential danger. The addition of strong central defenders in free kicks and the presence of Alireza Alizadeh to intercept the ball in the first phase or take possession behind the area has made Golgohar's offensive structure very dangerous in the air.

The tip of the arrow of this tactical plan is Majid Aliari, a tall striker who has shown in the last two matches in the timing of jumps, positioning between the defenders and changing the direction of the ball with his head, Mehdi Rahmati's winning card to open the goal for the representative of Bahrain, he has scored two goals with his head in the last two games of Gol Gohar in the Premier League.

The match between Iran's Golgohar and Bahrain's Al Muharraq teams will start tonight at 19:30 in the framework of the Asian Champions League 2.
