Russian Diesel Supplies to Help Stabilize Global Energy Markets

Dmitry Peskov stressed that Russia's supplies will not be sufficient to fully stabilize them.

Moscow, October 15. /TASS/. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a briefing that Russian diesel supplies to global energy markets would help stabilize them, although they would not be able to stabilize them completely.

He said: "A very large amount of diesel is currently available, this diesel has entered the world markets, which will have a certain positive effect on the stability of the oil markets, although it is not enough to completely stabilize them, but it should be recognized."

Asked how the Kremlin assesses the global reaction to the Moscow-Washington diesel deal and why it is being described as diplomatic, Peskov said: "This is primarily an energy [deal], I don't know why it is called diplomatic."
