Media activist Mohammad Akbarzadeh discusses the position of martyr Ali Larijani in diplomacy, the reactions of Mohsen Chavoshi and other artists to the war, and their changing approach to media activity, stressing that some artists are standing on the right side of history.

According to Ambassador Arjan, in the first part of the "In Front of the Picture" program, with Mohammad Akbarzadeh, a media activist and director of public relations of the Nano Technologies Development Headquarters, we talked about the political and social developments of recent years, the role of the media, the story of the "Immortal Guard", the experience of the development of nano technology in Iran and the meetings of members of this headquarters with the martyred leader of the revolution.

Ambassador Arjan: The picture is related to martyr Ali Larijani. Have you criticized them before?

We finally had a political view and were attached to a certain political thought. Maybe during that period, dear Martyr Larijani was not necessarily a popular figure for us, but even at that time, when we talked about him, we had a positive view of his personality and literacy. He also studied mathematics and philosophy. When he spoke and was in charge of the administration of the parliament, his mastery of literature and various subjects was really rare. Almost among the political figures of the country, we do not have a similar example for this level of dominance.

Martyr Ali Larijani shone in public diplomacy

That period of our criticism passed and we reached the 12-day war. Shahid Larijani really shined in this period. If today we are proud of Sardar Pakpour, Sardar Mousavi and other commanders in the military field, in the field of diplomacy and especially public diplomacy, dear Martyr Larijani was truly someone who, when he spoke, conveyed this peace to the people with the peace and calm he had and raised the level and class of diplomatic work by several steps.

During the seven-eight months that he was active in the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council, we had two meetings with the beloved martyr Larijani, which were among the meetings of media activists. I remember that in that meeting, the way they presented and the image they presented of the country's atmosphere really put our minds at ease as those who were concerned about the revolution and the country. Because we said that we are dealing with a wise and in fact Marzi al-Tarafiin, who can somehow include all political spectrums, and all political spectrums also respected him and his personality.

We really miss him today. I think that after the martyred leader, among the personalities who can be mentioned with respect to all the dear ones, perhaps the biggest blow we suffered was the loss of our beloved martyr Larijani. God willing, upcoming events and new loved ones who have come to work, will be able to make up for this big gap as soon as possible. Of course, some people really cannot be replaced and this also applies to dear Martyr Larijani. I think he had such a position for many people. Even about his critics, I saw many tweets and content on social networks where people who were critics of martyrs published things after his martyrdom expressing halal and with the view that maybe they were wrong towards him.

Of course, some still insist on saying that martyrdom does not make us reconsider our views and those people still emphasize their positions, but we really feel the loss of this dear martyr today.

Ambassador Arjan: Revolution Square, as a symbol of the envoy nation; The issue predicted by the Martyr Leader of the Revolution and one of the serious and strong foundations of this victory is what we are sitting together today and talking about. What do you think about street gatherings and its outskirts?

The fact is that perhaps the only term "miracle" can be used for this event; It's a miracle of blood sir, really, maybe this incident cannot be described in any other way. We probably do not have such an example in history, nor in other countries; That for more than 200 nights, people have stood up to work with their hearts and souls, despite all the hardships and problems they have, due to the sweat they have for their country and their leader. This important bastion of the street, which is mentioned again in the interpretations of our beloved leader and also other officials, is located next to two other bastions; The stronghold of Maidan, where our military forces are present, and the stronghold of diplomacy and the country's political sphere.

In fact, one of our most important pillars in this historical moment is the presence of people in the street, which has both strengthened the square and strengthened our diplomacy. When diplomacy is done with the support of people who have come to work all these nights, the situation will naturally be different. Ambassador Arjan: This matter had a wide reflection in foreign dimensions as well. Perhaps, since within a few hundred meters of the gathering of people, I think this Revolution Square, police stations and some other centers were hit, the matter became more serious. Foreigners were really surprised when they saw the films.

I still believe that perhaps the only term that can describe this event to some extent is the term "miracle" and "miracle". I have always told our friends who sit in media gatherings to compare the situation of the Islamic Republic on January 20 with April 20 or June 20. We can definitely see that we have improved a few steps in terms of social capital as well as active and intelligent presence; Especially considering the interpretation of the last message of our beloved leader, that people should continue to be active and vigilant in the scene. According to the atmosphere they created on the 18th and 19th of January, they expected to be able to ride the waves of protest with the power vacuum that was created, and to achieve what they could not achieve in the 12-day war, here and in the Ramadan war. But really, both the prediction of our martyred leader and the miraculous presence of the people, which the term "miraculous" was also one of the interpretations of our dear leader about this presence, was able to upset this equation.

Ambassador Arjan: The next picture is related to one of the radio programs. Of course, the radio program is not very relevant here, but the artist who is present in the picture is of interest. In the recent events and during the war, we had a number of artists who came to work more than what was expected from the artistic atmosphere of the society and reacted to the events that were happening in the country. Among these people was Mehran Ghafourian. Of course, maybe you can name other people as well.

In this picture, dear Mehran Ghafourian talks about Mohsen Chavoshi. Also, Mohsen Chavoshi was truly irreplaceable. What happened with the two works of "Hasbiullah" and also the song they released at the beginning of the 12-day war with the phrase "Treatment, treatment" was really remarkable. Both the lyrics and the performance of these works had a special place. Maybe today it can be said that he is one of the most popular figures in the field of music and maybe our most popular singer.

Some time ago, one of the social network accounts had prepared a clip on the occasion of Mohsen Chavoshi Aziz's birthday, in which I saw that people from different spectrums talked about him and his art. A character with such a position, if we want to talk with the term "heavenly", it was not necessary to enter this field. He could have maintained his position, continued his life in this country, and probably not even faced the obscenities of the other side, but I think he recognized that at this point he should make the right decision and, in our interpretation, stand in the right place in history. Dear Mohsen Chavoshi, was really placed on the right side of history. We have artists like Mr. Ghafourian, Mr. Vashqani and other dear ones who are active in this field and really showed that they are not afraid of the obscenity of virtual zombies.

Ambassador Arjan: Maybe the number of these people could be more if there was no fear of these obscenities and incidents...

Yes, that's for sure. Of course, these friends also broke the barrier in a way. When this barrier was broken, I saw that the space between athletes and artists became much easier. There were also reactions among our wrestlers and many footballers. The events that happened in 1401, this year we did not even witness one thousandth of it. In 1405, our sports figures really shined and this must be acknowledged. I believe that sports is one of the areas that has received less attention than its real capacity due to public favoritism.

Sports can play an important role in the current situation. Usually, the exercise environment is healthier. I don't want to be bold in the field of culture by saying this, but it seems that the ecosystem of our sports field is healthier and the people in this field are still more original. The expression of intellectualism, the expression of opposition, and things like that, have no place when the country is involved in war. There is really no room left for revenge in the field of war. In these recent events, we have a person like Abdul Karim Soroush, who is one of the well-known figures of the opposition of the Islamic Republic and has written serious critical letters to our martyred leader, and his positions in 2008 are also clear. But in this war, they entered the field and wrote many articles in mourning for our martyred commanders. This shows that the spectrum that came to the attention of the homeland during the Ramadan war was a wide spectrum. Ambassador Arjan: I think Ambassador Arjan was the first place where you did serious and professional media work. What was it like when you started it?

We didn't launch it. Since 1392, I had the opportunity to be present at the Ambassador of Arjan. Before that we were bloggers. We also had an account on Google Plus. Twitter did not exist then. Safir Arjan was a young group and, as its name suggests, it was composed of a range of revolutionary students. This collection was also active before our presence and at first it was called "Student News Network".

In 1392, when we went to this complex, he got the permission of ambassador of Arjan and continued his activities as ambassador of Arjan. During the period when I had the honor of being in this group for about seven years, we made an incident that I think is not bad to mention, because it is the environment of media discussion. The news agency, as it is clear from its title, must be active in various fields; Like other news agencies, we should have international, sports, political and cultural services, but we came to a decision and recognition that we should not follow exactly the same path as other news agencies.

We came to the conclusion that according to our own capacity and mission, we should focus on one or two areas in which we are more capable. We have a prophetic hadith that says: "I am the creator of all things, one and the same; It means that whoever devotes his efforts to a single task, God will also take care of his other affairs, and other issues will also be taken care of. We made such a decision there and instead of trying to compete with other news agencies in all areas, we focused on two areas, i.e. the image area and the university service.

In my opinion, a good thing happened and Arjan Ambassador is a well-known and prominent collection today and has found its place and recognition among the media. One thing that might be interesting to mention is that we were younger anyway and the atmosphere of our activity was a bit more intense. We passed that time and today we have matured a bit. When you get older or, so to speak, enter more serious work spaces, you may distance yourself a little from the media space and realize that we may have really gone too far at some points.

If I were to go back to those days with the position I have today and with the understanding I have today of the political and social atmosphere of the country, I would probably not do a significant part of the things we used to do, or at least I would change the way of criticizing. We did not perform well in some cases. Sometimes in criticizing, we did not properly understand the difficult environment of the society and the pressure conditions we were in. The repeated and emphatic emphasis of both the current leader and our martyred leader on preserving unity was certainly relevant at that time, but our youthful enthusiasm might have prevented us from understanding this leadership message correctly.

Of course, I also defend many of the events that happened at that time, and I believe that many criticisms should be made, but the important thing is how you look at things. If your point of view is that in order to preserve a larger interest, you have to go through some smaller issues and side conflicts, naturally, your media reaction and activism will also be different. A significant part of our media activists need to look at issues with the same eyes and with such glasses.

Ambassador Arjan: The last picture is related to Mohammad Baqer Kharazi, it was a picture of "Educate and Kill".

The truth is, I don't know much about them. Recently, when their clips were released, I looked at their previous positions and saw that they have content and positions, from the national team to the missile issue. I also saw positions from him; For example, they once said that they wanted to buy Manchester. Usually, a person who has this kind of attitude is not very reliable.

Statements and positions of Mohammad Baqer Kharazi

Of course, I really respect him because I don't know him and I don't want to dare, but these positions of his, which I saw recently. Especially considering the emphasis and messages of our beloved leader. In his last message, the sentence was mentioned repeatedly and emphatically, and they emphasized that this point should be taken into consideration in order to maintain unity at all levels, and they extended it to all levels. If we want to look at the issue from this point of view, their positions are definitely against the national interests. The way they are setting it up, including the summons they gave and then linking it to the goblins, was very strange to me. I don't think such positions will remain very stable. Maybe this is due to excitement and being different now.
