Will a Surprise US Attack Happen? / Senior Commander Javani: We Have Passed the Stage Where an Attack Could Lead to the Country's Collapse / A Mosaic Defense Model Has Taken Shape

Deputy Political Chief of the IRGC said that assessments indicate Iran has moved past the stage of a surprise military attack capable of leading to the country's collapse, adding that the country is now well prepared to respond to the enemy and counter any possible miscalculations.

According to Ambassador Arjan, Sardar Yadullah Javani explained the political, military and economic dimensions of the recent war in the Golestan Province administrative council meeting on Wednesday and said: Although this war is not called a world war in terms of form, many countries evaluate its consequences on the level of a world war. Just as the first and second world wars affected the international order, the geometry of power and the transfer of powers, the recent war can also bring about new developments and equations in the world arena.

According to the Young Journalists Club, he stated that the people of Iran, the resistance front and the Muslim nations of the region will see its effects and consequences after the end of the war, adding: Our assessment is that Iran and the resistance front will come out of this battle victorious, and its results will be reflected in the future equations of the region and the world.

The political deputy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, referring to the American calculations before the start of the Ramadan war on the 9th of March, said that the Americans thought that according to the experience of the 12-day war and the measures they designed for the start of the recent war, they would be able to achieve their goals within 48 hours and at most 72 hours.

Referring to Donald Trump's statements about the failure of previous American presidents to deal with Iran and his claim that he can bring this path to a conclusion, Javani said: These positions showed that the other side had entered the war with confidence in its calculations; But the process of developments, according to him, was different from the initial estimates of the United States.

Criticizing the approach of the American government in the recent war, he stated: the previous presidents of the United States, despite all their calculations and plans, avoided sending the country's army directly to fight the Iranian nation; Because they had come to the conclusion that the Iranian nation cannot be destroyed by a military battle. However, in the recent war, America chose a different path and put measures such as the martyrdom of the martyred leader, nuclear scientists and innocent children on the agenda.

Referring to Trump's concern about the consequences of defeat in this war, the political deputy of the IRGC said that this concern is caused by the political and strategic consequences of such a defeat for the United States and emphasized that the result of the recent battle, according to him, was not consistent with the initial calculations of the other party.

Referring to the view of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the inability of the United States to impose its will on the Iranian nation, as well as the words of martyr Qassem Soleimani regarding Iran's determination of the end of the war, Javani said: The same view existed in the calculations of the Islamic Republic before the war, and developments in the field showed that the outcome of the battle does not necessarily go according to the initial estimates of the enemy.

He stated that, according to him, comments have been made even inside the United States about the lack of a military trump card for Trump against Iran, and added: The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, are present in the field with the support of the Basij popular force, and any mistake made by the enemy will be met with a serious reaction and crushing responses.

Referring to the formation of a mosaic defense pattern in the country, the IRGC's political deputy stated: Based on this pattern, in different parts of Iran's geography, defense capacities and necessary forces are predicted and deployed in accordance with the probability of enemy movement; An issue that, according to him, limits the possibility of changing the conditions of war in favor of the enemy.

Javani also considered the advancements in defense, the acquisition of new technologies, and the development of weapons and equipment as factors in strengthening the deterrence power of the country, and he claimed that the distance of American ships from the region is one of the signs of this situation.

Referring to the damage to US bases in some countries in the region, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, he said: US military presence near Iran's geography has changed compared to the past and the country's forces have been moved to more distant places.

Referring to Iran's 1,648,000 square kilometer area, the political deputy of IRGC emphasized that the establishment of defense capabilities in different parts of the country and the participation of the people is a part of the Islamic Republic's defense model and can limit the enemy's ability to implement its plans.

Referring to the role of the country's defense power in deterring the enemy, he said: The Martyr Leader of the Islamic Revolution, aware of the possibility of a calculation error by the enemies, emphasized on strengthening the armed forces, and these preparations show their importance in the current situation.

Javani added: The enemy made a mistake in his calculations and started the war. However, the possibility of repeating calculation errors still exists and the Islamic Republic must maintain its readiness.

He stated that the evaluations indicate that Iran has passed the stage of the danger of a surprise military attack that could lead to the collapse of the country, and said: "Now there is a proper preparation to respond to the enemy and deal with its possible mistakes."

In another part of his speech, the political deputy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps pointed out the enemy's attempt to use the naval blockade in order to increase pressure on Iran and said: the idea that Iran can be pressured through the naval blockade faces serious limitations; Also, due to the geography of the country, the position of the neighbors and the regional interdependencies, it is not possible to apply air and ground blockade.

Emphasizing the role of border provinces and governors in developing interactions with neighboring countries, Javani added: The officials of provinces that share a border with neighboring countries can use the capacity of economic relations, regional communication and mutual cooperation to reduce pressures.

Referring to the simultaneity of military and economic pressures with cognitive warfare and psychological operations, he said: From the enemy's point of view, one of the main ways to influence Iran is to weaken the people's resilience. Sea, air and land pressures and attempts to limit oil exports, along with psychological operations, are followed with the aim of increasing pressure on society.

The political deputy of IRGC continued: The enemy seeks to create discord, division, despair, pessimism and mistrust in the society through media networks and cognitive operations. Therefore, maintaining social cohesion and strengthening public trust along with defense preparation is particularly important.

A young man appreciated the performance of the country's armed forces and said: The armed forces are performing their duties and we have no worries in this area. But along with military measures, efforts should also be made to maintain the presence of the people in the scene and strengthen the unity, cohesion and empathy of the society.

Referring to the presence of people in night gatherings, he added: This presence has been a support for fighters and armed forces, and the enemy is trying to weaken this social support by increasing various pressures.

Emphasizing the need to pay attention to people's livelihood issues and daily problems, the IRGC's political deputy stated: The best way to deal with America is to untangle people's problems. When the enemy seeks to harm the people and weaken the resilience of the society, the authorities must use all their power to protect the people in the field and strengthen unity and empathy, along with the armed forces.

Emphasizing that unity and cohesion in war conditions play a decisive role in the country's destiny, Javani said: In order to strengthen national unity, increase social cohesion and the continuity of popular communities, the two fields of Jihad of service and Jihad of explanation must be connected to each other.

He considered jihad of service to be the supervisor of the actions that officials take to solve people's problems and improve their quality of life, and he described jihad of explanation as informing the society and providing clear information about these actions.

The IRGC's political deputy added: The more the communication between the people and the officials is strengthened and the measures taken in the field of service provision are properly disclosed to the public opinion, the more the grounds for removing the ambiguities and reducing the skepticism that the enemy is trying to create will be provided.

Stating that the enemy seeks to influence public opinion through suspicion, inversion, and slander, Javani emphasized: Officials should respond to ambiguities by presenting a clear report of their performance and not allow the distance between the people and executive bodies to become a factor for weakening public trust.

In the end, he emphasized the necessity of simultaneous strengthening of defense capability, effective service delivery, continuous communication between officials and the people, and maintaining national unity and cohesion.
