The Deep Connection of the Quran with Children and Teenagers Through the 'Familiar Verses' Educational Plan

Hamadan – The head of the Quran and Ithra Center of the Islamic Propaganda Organization in Malayer announced the 'Familiar Verses' educational plan in Malayer, saying thematic teaching of 36 verses of the Holy Quran is being implemented for children and teenagers.

Hamedan- The head of the Koran and Atrat Center for Islamic Propaganda, Malair, announced the holding of the "Familiar Verses Educational Project" and said: In this project, 36 verses of the Holy Qur'an will be taught specifically for teenage children.

In an interview with Mehr reporter, Iraj Yarmohammadi added: Based on the educational plan of Ayat Ashna, in 36 face-to-face training sessions or integrated with virtual space within 2-3 months, our target group, i.e. children and teenagers in 2 age groups of seven to 12 years and 13 to 18 years, are trained and familiarized with 36 verses of the Quran in terms of memorization and concepts.

He stated that the Aayat Ashna project was implemented with the aim of promoting the concepts of the Holy Quran among children and teenagers, who are the future makers of the country, and useful, practical and attractive education is provided to this age group at an inclusive level, and stated: In this project, the Holy Quran is transformed from a purely holy book into an operational manual for life, which is a constant companion of people in various areas of life.

The head of the Koran and Atrat Center of the Malayer Islamic Propaganda Department stated that childhood and adolescence are considered the best time for education in such a way that all divine and religious education and skills are institutionalized in the heart of the society.

Yarmohammadi added: In order to fulfill the requirements of the Martyr Leader regarding the training of memorizers of the Holy Quran and with the aim of implementing the strategic document of Dar Al-Qur'an and the basic mission of the Malayer Islamic Propaganda Department in order to train the memorizers of the Holy Quran, the "Educational Plan of Familiar Verses" is being implemented on a large scale in the city.

He stated: Our goal is to create and strengthen the wave of discourse creation of the main concepts of practical teaching of the Quran, and we are trying to make the correct recitation and fluent reading of the verses of the Holy Quran become the intellectual system and behavioral skills and the operational course of children and adolescents in life, and concepts are taught to children and adolescents through tools such as games, stories, and intellectual challenges.

The head of the Koran and Attar Center of the Malayer Islamic Propaganda Department stated that 500 children and teenagers will be taught in these classes and we are trying to finish this project before the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, and through the Darul Qur'an Organization of the country, valid certificates will be awarded to the participants in this project, and we hope that this project will continue on a wider level next year.
