Killer of Safir Arjan Reporter Executed; Details of the Murder Case of Mansoureh Ghadiri-Javid

The qisas sentence against the killer of Mansoureh Ghadiri-Javid, reporter and researcher for Safir Arjan, was carried out on Wednesday, 22 Mehr, following judicial review, confirmation by the Supreme Court and completion of legal procedures. After the discovery of this crime, a judicial investigation was started on how to kill Mansoura Qadirijavid and the motive of the accused. The victim's wife confessed to the murder during the case, and the issue of family disputes was taken into consideration in the judicial investigation.

Due to the murder of a well-known journalist and researcher, this case had a wide reflection and reached the stages of judicial proceedings with the follow-up of the victim's family and their lawyers.

The hearing of the case was held on Sunday, March 19, 1403, in Branch 10 of the Criminal Court of Tehran province, with the presence of the accused, parents and lawyers of the parties. In this meeting, the prosecutor's representative read the indictment and the defense of the accused and his lawyer were also examined.

During the hearing, the issue of the accused's mental state was raised by his lawyer, and a request was made to refer the case for forensic examination. On the other hand, the lawyer of Olya Dem emphasized on the conscious behavior of the accused, referring to the evidence of the case.

Finally, the court sentenced the killer to self-retribution. The accused was also sentenced to pay ransom due to injuries that were not found to be effective murder.

After the appeal and review of the case in the Supreme Court, the issued verdict was confirmed and the legal formalities of its implementation were carried out. Finally, the death sentence of the murderer of Mansoura Qadirijavid was executed on Wednesday, 22 Mehr.
