Bushehr - Imam Juma Siraf criticized the lack of facilities and medical equipment in the cities of Shirino and Siraf and demanded that the oil, gas and petrochemical industries pay serious attention to the health and treatment needs of the people of the region.
According to Mehr reporter, Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Sadiq Ashuri, on Wednesday afternoon, during the honoring ceremony of the medical staff of Imam Reza Comprehensive Health Center (AS) in Shirino on the occasion of Nurse's Day, criticized the lack of medical facilities and equipment in Shirino and Siraf cities and demanded serious attention of the oil, gas and petrochemical industries to the health and treatment needs of the people of the region.
After hearing the problems and shortcomings of Imam Reza Comprehensive Health Center (AS) from the head of this center, Imam Juma of Siraf Department expressed his regret about the current situation and said: It is a pity that the clinic is deprived of the minimums in addition to these huge industries. It is not beautiful that next to the industry, Shirino Clinic has the least facilities; How long should we be oppressed and deprived?
Referring to the treatment deprivations of Shirino, he said: Human tears flow when he sees these inhumanities. When I heard the problems and deficiencies, my tears came; Why should we be deprived of the least among these huge reserves?
Hojjatul Islam Ashuri, criticizing the condition of medical facilities in the vicinity of large industries in the region, raised this question: Does that mean people's health is not important for an industry that endangers people's health?
Emphasizing the need for industries located in the region to pay attention to their social responsibilities, he said: I know it is my duty to express people's problems, and the industry is expected to support the clinic located in the heart of the industry.
The Friday imam of Siraf district also considered the deprivation of Siraf and Shirinu medical centers from the necessary equipment unacceptable and emphasized: It is not acceptable at all that Siraf and Shirinu clinics are deprived of equipment.
The city of Shirino is located in the vicinity of the large oil, gas and petrochemical facilities of South Pars, and the lack of facilities and medical equipment in this city was one of the issues criticized by Imam Juma Bakhsh Siraf in this ceremony.
In another part of his speech, he appreciated the efforts of doctors, nurses and staff of Imam Reza Comprehensive Health Center (AS) in Shirino city.
At the end of this ceremony, the services of the medical staff of this center were honored with a certificate of appreciation and gifts.
