Moscow, October 12. /TASS/. Denis Pushilin, president of the Donetsk People's Republic, told the Vesti news program that Russian forces continued to improve their positions in all frontline areas last week in their ongoing efforts to liberate the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

The head of the Donetsk People's Republic stressed: "During the past week, our forces continued to improve their positions across the conflict line and attack the enemy's manpower and equipment. <…> Continuous efforts are underway to liberate the Donetsk People's Republic."

Pushilin said that Russian forces are in several ways covering the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk concentration, the last major defense zone of the Ukrainian army in the Donetsk region, which will help them to develop their offensive in this direction.

"As for the density of Slavyansk-Kramatorsk, progress in that direction continues. Undoubtedly, the encirclement of communities that are advancing in several directions also plays a decisive role," he said.
