Hashemi: The illogical agricultural electricity tariffs should be corrected

Emphasizing that the activity in the field of agriculture is always associated with high risk due to the dependence on water, soil and natural disasters such as floods, storms and hail, he added: despite this vulnerability, today's farmers are facing accumulated problems such as exchange rate fluctuations, inflation and expensive inputs, especially the skyrocketing costs of water and electricity.

Criticism of the right of transit and fuel price difference compensation

Hashemi called the tariffs of the electricity sector one of the main concerns of producers and said: the cost of "electricity transit right" has in some cases exceeded the total price of electricity consumption by farmers; While the transit of electricity from neighboring provinces occurs only during peak consumption months and inevitably, the electricity company does not pay farmers a bonus or reverse transit right during the province's surplus production.

He also pointed to the issue of receiving the fuel difference and added: The gas company claims that the gas supply network has been extended to the homes or production units of the discoverers, but in many areas such as Minab and Rodan, there is no possibility for farmers to have access to gas or the network is closed. However, the difference in the price of gas and diesel has been placed on the shoulders of the operators as a fine or additional cost, and heavy figures such as bills of 150 to 350 million tomans have been issued to farmers, which has caused great concern and deprived them of peace.

The necessity of determining the rental price of agricultural lands

In the end, the representative of the people of East Hormozgan pointed out the problems of handing over agricultural lands and multiplying their rents by the Agricultural Settlements Company and demanded the immediate entry of the authorities to correct the existing procedures, suspend fines and provide real support to the economic activists and production enterprises of the region.
