Head of the Housing Foundation, referring to the implementation of the Omid Housing Plan, said: In total, 200,000 housing units are planned under this scheme. According to the report received as of Saturday, construction has begun on about 105,000 units and the project is progressing at a good pace. Monthly installments will be 6.5 million toman.

According to Ambassador Arjan, the head of the Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation announced the plan to build 200,000 residential units in the form of the "House of Hope" project and said: "This plan is implemented with the aim of housing the deprived classes and people who have not yet used government facilities in the field of housing, and the executive operations of about 105,000 units have begun, and the provision of free land, loan facilities, and grants to support qualified applicants are on the agenda.

Explaining the details of the project, Manouchehr Khajedaloui, the head of the Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation, said: "Omid House is implemented with the aim of providing housing for the disadvantaged sections of the society, and the applicants must have two basic conditions to benefit from its facilities; First, they should be in the deprived class group, and second, they should not have used government facilities in the field of housing before, and their form C should be green.

He added: Qualified applicants in any part of the country can use the facilities of this plan. In this regard, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development undertakes the provision of land in existing cities and new cities, and the required land is provided to applicants free of charge.

Referring to the implementation process of the House of Hope project, the head of the Housing Foundation said: In total, the construction of 200,000 residential units is planned in the form of this project. According to the report received until Saturday, the executive operation of about 105 thousand units has started and the plan is progressing at a good speed, and its monthly installments will be 6 million and 500 thousand tomans.

Referring to the agreements concluded for the provision of land, Khajedaloui stated: The Housing Foundation has signed an agreement with the National Land and Housing Organization for the provision of 50,000 units of land, of which 25,000 units are allocated to new cities. Provision and assignment of land within the framework of these agreements is underway.

He stated that the direct participation of the people is one of the main features of this project and continued: unlike some centralized housing projects, in the House of Hope project, the people themselves participate in the construction process, and the Housing Foundation also follows up on issues related to the issuance of permits and other executive steps. In the field of design and technical issues, measures have been taken with the cooperation of the engineering system and certain structural systems have been designed that the applicants can use if they wish.

The head of the housing foundation said about the construction model of the Omid House project: special criteria have been considered for this project and efforts have been made to reduce the cost of construction by reducing the number of floors, limiting building density and using optimal design patterns.

He added: The useful infrastructure of the units is expected to be around 50 to 60 square meters and the parking lots will be placed in the open space. Also, in the design of structural systems, the amount of iron consumption has been calculated and optimized to reduce the construction cost for the applicants.

Khajedaloui continued: In this plan, there is an attempt to find lands where it is possible to build low-rise units. Increasing the number of floors and building density can increase construction costs; Therefore, our desired model is mainly based on the construction of one-story, two-story units and finally with a limited number of floors.

Referring to the support of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development in providing land, he said: So far, more than 30,000 plots of land provided in the memorandum of understanding of 50,000 plots have been delivered, but some of the introduced lands did not fit the criteria and pattern of the plan and were returned to provide more suitable land.
