Dizzy Edgar Jones revealed after filming 'Twisters' that he might be 'a little deaf' in one ear.

The actor starred opposite Glenn Powell in the 2024 action adventure thriller.

Twisters has had a lasting effect on Daisy Edgar Jones, but not necessarily in the way she would have liked.

In a recent episode of Jake Sheen's Therapuss podcast, the actor revealed that he may be "a little deaf" in one ear after filming the action-adventure thriller 2024, directed by Lee Isaac Chung.

"I think I'm still a little bit deaf in my left ear because there was so much debris and wind coming from the left side," he said. It was a windy shoot. It was quite ironic because we were shooting in Oklahoma and often had to shut down the shoot because of an actual windstorm, only to recreate after the windstorm passed. It was a wild experience.

Acting as a standalone sequel, Twisters came almost two decades after 1996's Twister. The film follows Keith Carter (Edgar-Jones), a retired tornado chaser and meteorologist who is persuaded to return to Oklahoma to work with a new team and new technologies. There, she meets Tyler Owens (Glenn Powell), a content creator who posts his whirlwind adventures.

The Sense and Sensibility star was definitely not afraid to get in on the action, previously telling The Hollywood Reporter that she got "a little bit addicted" to doing stunts after filming Twisters.

"It was a very heavy stunt and I've never done it right," Madgar Jones said in 2024. Edgar Jones said in 2024: “It was a lot of fun. I mean, we had a great stunt section that really helped us immerse ourselves in it and also kept us safe. Most of the stunts were somehow battered by the wind, rain and debris, so it was definitely an interesting filming experience.
