Helichi: Where Is the Iranian Player's Right? / New Protest Over Registration Cards for Esteghlal Khuzestan Players

Ali Helichi, former Esteghlal Khuzestan player, criticized the failure to enforce a final ruling on his unpaid dues and said issuing registration cards to new players while previous debts remain unpaid is questionable.

According to "Varzeh Se", the discussion of the demands of the former players of Esteghlal Khuzestan continues. Ali Halychi, who received a final decision from this club to receive his request, believes that the non-implementation of the issued decision has called into question the executive guarantee of football decisions.

In response to the question why his claims have not yet been paid despite the issuance of a final verdict, Helici told our reporter: "Unfortunately, even though the final verdict was issued in my favor, after several years, I still have not been able to get my legal right." There is a question for me and many domestic players that if the verdict is issued, why is it not implemented? Isn't the purpose of issuing a verdict to execute justice?"

He continued: "We have followed the legal path to get our rights, we have filed a complaint and received a verdict, but in the end we still have to wait. "The player should not be involved in follow-up and uncertainty for years after the decision is issued."

The former player of Esteghlal Khuzestan said about the closure of the club's transfer window: "When the transfer window of Esteghlal Khuzestan was closed due to the claims file, it was expected that no action outside the framework of the law would be carried out until the execution of the verdict. "But to our surprise, the new players' playing cards were issued, while the order regarding our demands was still not implemented."

Helici added: "This matter has room for questions and ambiguity for me. If the previous debts have not been paid and the final judgment is still on the ground, how will it be possible to register the contract and issue new players' cards? This incident makes the players worry about the guarantee of the execution of the issued orders.

Criticizing the performance of the football federation and the league organization, he said: "My question to the officials of the football federation and the league organization is that when a ruling is issued, why is there no sufficient enforcement guarantee?" If the rules are to remain only on paper, then how will the players' rights be protected? We expect strict and non-discriminatory implementation of the law."

Referring to the difference in dealing with domestic and foreign players, Helichi continued: "There should be no difference between Iranian and foreign players. The law must apply equally to all. The Iranian player also has an official contract, he has played for the club and if a verdict is issued in his favor, he should be able to get what he deserves."

In the end, the former player of Esteghlal Khuzestan said: "My request is only the implementation of justice. I hope that the authorities will gain the players' trust by fully implementing the rules so that no player will wander for years to receive their legal demands. "When a final judgment is issued, there must be a way to enforce it and clubs cannot continue to operate without settling past debts."
