Iran's Apple Output Nears Record; Market Eyes Export of One Million Tons

Minister of Agriculture Jihad, citing a forecast of more than four million tons of apple production this year, said exporting at least one million tons of the product would secure orchardists' interests and help stabilize the domestic market.

Referring to the forecast of the production of more than four million tons of apples in the country this year, the Minister of Jihad of Agriculture said: the export of at least one million tons of this product will help to regulate the domestic market, in addition to ensuring the interests of gardeners.
