Dorri: Killing of Civilians Contradicts America's Human Rights Claims

Arak – The Representative of the Supreme Leader in Markazi Province criticized US conduct in regional wars and conflicts, saying: The country's human rights claims contradict what has happened in the world.

According to Mehr reporter, Ayatollah Gurban Ali Dari of Najafabadi on Tuesday evening at the meeting of the General Culture Council of the Central Province condemned the insulting statements of the US Secretary of State against the Iranian nation and stated: Iran is a land with a history of thousands of years and a valuable heritage in the fields of culture, science, civilization and thought, and no foreign official can question the historical position and honor of this nation with humiliating words.

He added: The history of this land is full of great experiences, historical ups and downs, and influential personalities whose names and roles have been preserved in the memory of human civilization. Therefore, knowing the position of Iran requires paying attention to the historical and cultural depth of this land.

Referring to the role of Iran in the historical and religious developments of the region, the representative of Wali Faqih in Central Province stated: Iran's name is linked with the events and prominent figures of history, and this heritage cannot be ignored with political positions, propaganda or insulting statements.

He continued: Examining the relations between nations and evaluating the historical status of countries should be based on historical documents and evidence.

Ayatollah Dari Najafabadi emphasized: Iranian people have faced many wars and difficulties throughout history, but relying on national identity, culture, faith and the spirit of independence, they have preserved their existence and dignity.

America's performance in wars is not consistent with its human rights claims

Valifaqih's representative in the central province criticized America's performance in different parts of the world and said: The investigation of the country's incidents and interventions in areas such as Vietnam, Palestine and Lebanon and the human consequences of wars raises serious questions about America's human rights claims.

Referring to the killing of civilians and children in regional conflicts and the attacks of the United States and the Zionist regime, he added: What happened in Palestine and Lebanon, as well as the testimony of Minab school children and other citizens during the recent attacks on Iran, shows the necessity of paying serious attention to the rights of civilians and pursuing the responsibility of the perpetrators of these incidents.

Ayatollah Dari Najafabadi stated: The protection of human rights cannot remain only at the level of slogans and political stances, but must be reflected in the behavior and performance of governments, especially when wars and humanitarian crises occur.

He added: Attacks on defenseless people and civilian centers, regardless of where they occur, should be investigated based on the standards of international law and the rules governing armed conflicts, and no party should consider itself beyond these standards.

Ayatollah Dari Najafabadi emphasized: You cannot claim to defend human rights on the one hand, and on the other hand, remain silent against the killing of innocent people, the displacement of families, and the destruction of residential areas. Such a contradiction doubles the need to answer and deal with actions that violate human rights.

Iran's national honor is not damaged by insulting statements

The representative of Vali-faqih in Central Province said: Despite various pressures and difficulties, the people of Iran are committed to their independence, territorial integrity and preserving their national honor, and protecting the country's historical identity and interests requires unity, vigilance and public responsibility.

Emphasizing the responsibility of elites and cultural activists for regional developments, he stated: In the face of insulting the identity of nations and crimes against oppressed people, a conscious and responsible stance is necessary and one-sided narratives, historical realities and the suffering of war victims should not be allowed to be sidelined.

Ayatollah Dari Najafabadi, honoring the memory of the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and the recent events and appreciating the presence and companionship of the people, said: The nation of Iran follows the path of honor and independence by relying on its faith, culture, history and experiences, and the insulting statements of foreign officials cannot reduce the value of the historical and civilizational heritage of this land.
