TABRIZ – The Director General of Islamic Propaganda in East Azerbaijan Province, stressing the role of eulogists, said they must play a part in promoting truth and religious values by explaining the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and distinguishing the side of truth from falsehood.

According to Mehr reporter, Hojjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Hasan Aslan-Najadi, at the second conference of "Praisers of the Sun" focused on honoring the religious poets of East Azerbaijan, pointed out the background of ritual poetry and its role in conveying religious concepts, and emphasized the necessity of the active presence of the praisers in the cultural and social arenas.
Referring to the position of Fozuli Baghdadi in ritual poetry, he stated: Fuzuli was one of the first Turkic poets of Iraq who narrated the sufferings of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) with poetry in a way that is close to today's expression, and after him poets like Dakhil were active in the field of ritual and epic poetry.
The Director General of Islamic Propaganda of East Azarbaijan stated that the praisers and servants of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) have an influential position in the society, and added: the behavior and speech of the activists in this field should be such that people, when facing them, observe the manifestations of the moral and behavioral style of the family of innocence and purity.
He considered the racial principle to be one of the most important requirements for the activity of the maddahs, recognizing and distinguishing the front of truth from falsehood, and stated: the uprising and struggle of divine saints, especially Imam Hussein (AS), was formed in the path of defending the truth and truth; Therefore, love for the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) should be reflected in the behavior and speech of the followers of this school.
He pointed out: Adherence to the front of truth, self-sacrifice and sacrifice in this direction are responsibilities that should be seen in the practical course of those who claim the love of Ahl al-Bayt (AS). Just as the imams of Athar (AS) used their whole being in this way.
The gatherings of Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) should be the basis for increasing knowledge
The head of the office of the representative of the Supreme Leader in East Azarbaijan also emphasized the role of religious assemblies in increasing public awareness and said: the pulpits and eulogy assemblies of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) should be a platform for improving people's knowledge of religious, cultural and political issues.
Hojjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Ali Faqih, referring to the influence of exhorters and orators in the society, said: the activists of this field should have piety, knowledge and awareness, and in sensitive social situations, their meetings and speeches should help to increase the insight of the audience.
He considered the return to Quranic concepts and values as one of the necessities of cultural and religious activities and demanded more attention from the worshipers and servants of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) to explain and promote the humanistic teachings of the Quran in their programs.
The jurist also emphasized the necessity of avoiding quoting false information in mourning gatherings and said: Even with the aim of causing sadness and influence in the audience, false information about the sufferings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) should not be used.
Stating that the content of religious gatherings should cover various dimensions of Islamic teachings, the head of the office of the representative of the religious leader in East Azerbaijan added: the explanation of concepts such as sacrifice, martyrdom, standing, endurance and resistance against enemies should also be given attention to the activists of this field.
The second "Praisers of the Sun" conference was held on Wednesday, Mehr 22nd, with the focus of honoring the praisers of Ahl al-Bayt Infallibility and Purity (AS) and commemorating the memory of the late Haj Seyed Abulfazl Mostafa'i and Haj Ismail Farsi, one of the pioneer religious praisers and poets, at the General Directorate of Islamic Propaganda of East Azerbaijan.
This conference was held under the initiative of the Madahan Center of the province and with the cooperation of Islamic propaganda of Tabriz, and during it, a group of old and young madahs, including Haj Azim Shirazebagh, one of the veterans of this field, was honored.
