Kid Rock dishes at White House dinner with Trump, Maher, Stephen Smith

"Last night, I had dinner at the White House with the president, Bill Maher, and Stephen E. Smith. We all agreed that socialism and communism have no place in our government," he said before pointing to Al-Sayed. This man screams socialism.

The posts discovered on social media contradict the narrative of the "capitalist" Al-Sayed.

When asked how the dinner went, Kid Rock said the group had a great conversation.

"It was epic," he said. "And the thing that was the best, there's so many points that I could work on for an hour, is, you know, two Democrats, two Republicans sitting down, breaking bread, laughing, talking about it, and having tough conversations about a lot of things."

The musician explained some of the issues Maher and Smith raised with Trump.

"Everything from socialism and communism to the war in Iran to Bill Maher talking about bringing translators and things that would help us out of Afghanistan," he said. Stephen A. "Smith was so involved in talking about unemployment with black women and funding HBCUs that we reminded her that President Trump gave $174 million in funding to historically black universities and colleges in 2016, which was great."

Kid Rock said Smith pointed out that "by Trump stabbing DEI in the heart, he seems afraid of a lot of corporate money coming to HBCUs."

I want to make a point, I'm speaking on this and I'm speaking for President Trump and the administration and I'm saying, no, no, not only do we support, but we want to encourage corporations to continue to fund HBCUs and to continue to donate to them. We know how important education, especially in the black community, is to strengthening black families."

Maher and Kid Rock previously dined with Trump at the White House in 2025. Maher recently revealed that he plans to meet the president again.

"I'll have dinner with him again next week," Maher told Hollywood agent and executive Ari Emanuel during a conversation on the "Club Random" podcast.

Maher mocks liberals for fearing Trump's contradictory behavior and personality after 10 years.

“After the first dinner, I went back to doing what I'm doing ... but after that, he was just, like, let's have dinner again. And I was really great and he was really good." "For example, I promise not to say anything bad about you like last time," Maher said. And I texted and said, "You know what, you're the president of the United States." Say whatever the f--- you want. I'm just glad we're talking.' It's like Don Rickles called him a "hockey puck." It's just what he does. This is how he talks."

Kid Rock also spoke with "Outnumbered" on Friday about his new album, "Halfway 2 Jesus," which features collaborations with Eminem, Lil Wayne, and more.

"Not just me and my old friend of 40 years, Eminem, Lil Wayne came in at the last minute," Kid Rock said, "because me and Eminem decided that a different song that we made was going to be more powerful than another song, so it created a void there. And Lil Wayne, he's the only one. I mean, as tight as humans come."

The singer said that in this album he has voices with all kinds of backgrounds and political opinions.

"I told him, 'I'm leaving, Wayne, whatever you need me for, I'll always be there,'" Kid Rock said. "If you need to come change your tires, I'll be there to spin them, whatever. But not just them, and the other recording guests, Gary Lovex and Jimmy Allen, but all musicians, songwriters, engineers, we're all from different backgrounds, different religions, different political beliefs."

However, we came together to make this powerful and very beautiful work that - I haven't promoted many records in the last 10, 15 years - but it's very important to promote this work because I'm promoting the message of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And it's bigger than me."
