The latest traffic situation of Mazandaran roads; Kandavan becomes one-sided

Mazandaran highway police chief announced the blocking of the south-north route of the Tehran-North Freeway and the Kandavan axis from 14:00 on Friday, 24 Mehr, and the implementation of one-way restrictions from Marzanabad to the south from around 18:00.

Ambassador of Arjan-Social Group: Col. Hadi Ebadi, referring to the latest traffic situation of the transportation axes of the province, stated today, Friday, Mehr 24th: Currently, the exit traffic of Kandavan, Haraz and Swadkoh axes is semi-heavy, and about three kilometers of static traffic has been reported in the area of Marzan Abad exit.

He added: Due to the volume of traffic, from 2:00 p.m. today, the south-north route of Tehran-North Freeway and the Kandavan axis will be blocked, and from around 6:00 p.m., one-way traffic restrictions will be implemented from the Marzanabad exit to the south.

Mazandaran road police chief continued: In Haraz axis, due to the traffic conditions, traffic restrictions will be implemented in a one-way and sectional manner.

Referring to the cloudy and sunny weather conditions in the province, Ebadi asked the drivers to follow the traffic rules and regulations, observe the safe speed, pay enough attention to the front, and maintain a suitable length distance from the vehicle in front.

Due to the heavy traffic in the Kandavan axis, Chalus road and Tehran-North Freeway became one-way to relieve the traffic load from Chalus side to Tehran and Alborz.

In order to manage the traffic load of returning passengers, the Mazandaran road police imposed extensive restrictions on the Kandavan axis. According to the announcement of Colonel Hadi Ebadi, the south-north route of this axis will be blocked from 4:00 p.m. today, and with the traffic ban from Zangoleh bridge at 6:00 p.m., finally, from 7:00 p.m., the road from Marzanabad to Tehran and Alborz will be completely one-way.

With the increase in traffic on the Chalus axis and the Tehran-North Freeway, the road police prohibited traffic on the north-south route from 5:00 p.m. and closed the route from Tehran to Mazandaran one way
