According to Mehr reporter, Sergeant Javad Rafiei told reporters on Saturday noon: In order to deal with the smuggling of goods and fuel products, the sailors of Sistan and Baluchistan province succeeded in identifying and impounding 5 fishing vessels carrying smuggled fuel in the area of Chabahar.

The Sistan and Baluchistan Border Guard Commander added: During this operation, 25,000 liters of smuggled diesel were seized and 5 people were arrested in this regard.

Pointing out that the value of the discovered fuel is estimated at 41 billion Rials according to the experts, he emphasized that the border guards are seriously pursuing the fight against smugglers and the protection of national assets by intensifying the control and monitoring of sea borders.
