The head of the Transparency Committee of the Tehran City Council, stressing the need to resolve ambiguities surrounding the 'Zero Inflation' plan, asked the Mayor of Tehran to attend the council's open session to provide detailed explanations and respond to members' concerns.
The head of transparency committee of Tehran Islamic Council, emphasizing the need to clear the ambiguities surrounding the "Zero Inflation" project, asked the mayor of Tehran to appear in the public meeting of the council to provide detailed explanations and answer the concerns of the members.
According to Ambassador Arjan, Ahmad Sadeghi, during the 438th session of the Islamic Council of Tehran, pointed out the concerns raised by some members regarding the municipality's "Zero Inflation" plan, and emphasized the need to separate issues to avoid "confusion".
Stating that the concerns raised by the members are respected, Sadeghi clarified: "It should be noted that the subject of the zero inflation plan has nothing to do with urban planning issues and incomes in the field of urban planning."
He added: "The honorable mayor of Tehran gave full explanations about the dimensions of this plan in the consultation meeting, and it seems that in order to clear the existing ambiguities, it is necessary for him to appear again in the public forum of the council in the presence of journalists to answer the questions and concerns of friends."
In the end, the head of transparency committee of Tehran City Council noted: "My suggestion is that the mayor of Tehran be invited to a public meeting to provide explanations about the Zero Inflation Plan, so that by clarifying, this mental ambiguity that the said plan is related to urban development revenues will be resolved for everyone."
