Tehran Women Visit Historical and Religious Sites in Varamin

A one-day Varamin tour, joined by women tourists and enthusiasts of cultural heritage, was held from the Quds Town Community Center in Tehran, where participants got acquainted with some of the historical, religious, and tourism attractions of the county.

A one-day tour of Varamin was held with a group of women tourists and those interested in cultural heritage from Shahrek Qods neighborhood in Tehran, and the participants got to know some of the historical, religious and tourism capacities of this city.

According to the report of Aria Heritage reporter, the head of Varamin city's Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department announced this news and said: This tourism tour was organized with the cooperation of this department with the aim of introducing the historical and religious attractions of Varamin and making tourists more familiar with the cultural and civilizational background of this region.

Mohammad Reza Tajik added: During this program, tourists visited historical and religious buildings and places of the city, including the Jame Mosque of Varamin, the Tower of the Tomb of Alaa al-Doulah and Imamzadeh Yahya (a.s.) and got acquainted with the manifestations of the history, architecture and cultural identity of this region.

Referring to the importance of developing cultural tourism, he said: Introducing historical and religious monuments to tourists has an effective role in introducing the city's lesser-known capacities and increasing public awareness of cultural heritage values. Holding targeted tourism tours can provide a closer connection for visitors with the history and civilization of the region.

Tajik pointed out: In this program, brochures introducing the tourist attractions of Varamin were provided to the participants, and the experts of the city's cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts department provided expert explanations about the historical background, architectural features and cultural importance of these buildings after visiting each work.

This one-day tour provided an opportunity for female tourists to get acquainted with part of the valuable heritage of Varamin and to know more about the capacities of this city in the field of historical and religious tourism.
