Moscow, October 16. /TASS/. Kirill Dmitriev, Special Presidential Envoy and CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), said that Russia and the United States will soon announce important joint initiatives.

"We have a wide and wide range of projects and we are moving forward with them," he said at the 8th Russian International Energy Forum. Of course, everything is very complicated. There are resistances, including widespread resistance from various sides. But as the example of diesel shows, I think we will announce some important initiatives in the near future. The ice is finally starting to break."

Dmitriev emphasized the importance of countries' cooperation now. In the end, he said: Actually, we are currently implementing projects with America and we will continue this work until the end of the special military operation.

The 8th International Forum of the Russian Energy Week will be held in Moscow on October 14-16 with the support of the Russian government, the Russian Ministry of Energy and the Moscow city government.
