Eroding the Survival of Terrorism

The arena in which Israel's fate will be decided is not limited to the borders of Palestine. Wherever continued occupation becomes costly for Israel and support for it becomes harder for other governments, part of the calculation changes.

Guest note, Koresh Aliani, a cultural activist: One of the Iranian veterans of the Pager massacre said, according to Seyed Martyr Nasrallah, "We will win over Israel with points; No technical kick. We do not want to destroy Israel with a military campaign; "Our resistance and standing will destroy Israel." This analogy illuminates an important difference. A larger army is not going to defeat the Israeli army in a final battle. A series of small and big changes is supposed to gradually eliminate the conditions for Israel's survival.

Martyr Nasrallah in 2000, after Israel's withdrawal from southern Lebanon, referred to Israel as an entity "slower than a spider's web". This was not about the weakness of Israel's weapons. Israel, especially at that time, had an advanced army and equipment, but could not afford to stay in southern Lebanon. The resistance had forced it to retreat not by destroying the Israeli army, but by changing the cost-benefit calculation. Lebanon's experience showed that superiority in the power of destruction does not necessarily mean superiority in the ability to survive.

The martyr leader also said in 2014, "In 25 years, by God's grace and grace, there will be no such thing as the Zionist regime in the region." The importance of this statement, in our discussion, is not only determining a time horizon. This horizon is connected with his continuous emphasis on continuing the resistance. They also said before: "Zionism will not endure the wave of increasing Palestinian generations." That is, in calculating the fate of Israel, only the number of tanks and planes is not decisive; A population that does not stop demanding its land is also part of the equation.

But Israel does not rely only on its own resources. The military, financial, and political support of America and other Western governments is part of Israel's ability to bear the costs of occupation and war. For this reason, pressure on Israel's supporters finds an independent place in this logic.

In the 1404 Hajj message, the martyred leader said that the ways of providing aid to Israel should be blocked and the governments related to America should pressure this country to stop its support. The practical meaning of this demand is clear; Support for Israel should not be free for its supporters.

As a result, the field of Israel's self-determination is not limited to the borders of Palestine. Wherever the continued occupation costs Israel, and wherever it becomes more difficult for other states to support it, part of that calculus changes. Military pressure, social resistance, persistence of Palestinian generations, and political pressure on foreign supporters, if accumulated over time, could wear down Israel's ability to maintain the status quo. Just like the street presence during this period of social mission of Iranian people.

In the long horizon, the total costs must exceed the ability to recover them.

This view does not promise victory on a certain day; He talks about the mechanism of victory. Nasrallah's phrase, "victory by margin", means exactly that, every retreat, every new expenditure, and every restriction on foreign support, will determine a part of the final result.

Gradual destruction, in this view, is another name for wearing out the survival conditions of this terrorist rule.
