Ambassador Arjan: Emphasizing Tehran's readiness to continue negotiations and defend the country, Iranian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs announced that Iran's response to America's reservations about the proposal for a seven-day ceasefire plan is still under review, and after it is finalized, it will be announced to the other side through mediators.

Kazem Gharibabadi said on Monday that Iran still welcomes the path of diplomacy, but the demands raised in the negotiations must be realistic.

He emphasized that Iran's readiness to defend the country and enter the war is not less than this country's readiness to negotiate.

Iran's deputy foreign minister, referring to the review of America's views on the proposal made by Tehran in New York, said that Iran is finalizing its response and will convey the final position through mediators after the consultations are completed.

He, who was talking to "Al-Arabi" TV channel, considered Iran's continued participation in the talks as a sign of Tehran's flexibility and the country's adherence to the diplomatic solution, and asked America to return to its commitments.

Gharibabadi stated: Washington has violated its obligations within the framework of the Islamabad Memorandum and the United States must take steps to compensate for this action. Iran has not violated any of its obligations and in a situation where Tehran believes that the United States has not fully adhered to its obligations, we cannot expect more flexibility from Iran.

In the same context, "Amir Jaber", reporter of Al-Arabi Network in Tehran, reported that Gharibabadi explained Iran's official position regarding the negotiations with the US, developments in the Strait of Hormuz and relations with the countries of the region.

According to this reporter, in this conversation, Gharibabadi emphasized Tehran's readiness to negotiate on the nuclear program, but considered any further flexibility before returning to the negotiating table unlikely. Also, the exchange of messages between Tehran and Washington continues through mediators, although the US position on some of Iran's conditions is still unclear.

Al-Arabi reporter further added: Referring to Iran's military options, Gharibabadi warned that in the event of an attack by America or Israel, Tehran has various scenarios at its disposal and new fronts may be opened in the region.
