VisionQuest's release schedule marks the premiere of Episode 1

Marvel has released the full VisionQuest release schedule and is showing an early preview for Episode 1.

The Disney+ cast of Vision (Paul Bettany) and Ultron (James Spader) materialized on Marvel Studios' social media channels — and it came with a bit of a surprise. Instead of starting its subplot on October 14th as originally planned, VisionQuest Episode 1 will arrive tomorrow, October 13th at 6pm PT / 9pm ET.

It's a one-day preview that Marvel waited until today to announce, as well as provide more detailed information on the full release schedule. Those hoping to keep up with VisionQuest can expect two episodes each week until the penultimate episode debuts on its own on November 3rd, with the eighth and final episode coming a week after that. You can see the full breakdown below.

Episode 1: "No Strings" and Episode 2: "Theseus" - October 13

Episode 3: "Reboot" and Episode 4: "Malware" - October 20

Episode 5: "Wall of Fire" and Episode 6: "Deadlock" - October 27

An official synopsis for the series reads: "Vision has been undercover, rebooting, and escaping from those looking to weaponize him." In search of new meaning, he consults the AI characters included in his programs, including Friday, Edith, Jarvis, and the infamous Ultron. Her cautious existence ends when a bounty placed on her head ends up with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be Vision's son.

VisionQuest will conclude the WandaVision trilogy over the next few weeks. It should provide a nice distraction as fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe wait for the next big event movie, Avengers: Doomsday, on December 18, 2026.

After that, the MCU is gearing up for a quiet year as it works to wrap up the Multiverse saga with Avengers: Secret Wars in December 2027, but that doesn't mean there won't be anything to watch in the months between 2027. While we wait to see how Vision's (mostly) standalone story will portray the world, you can check out IGN's list of 10 streaming shows to watch in October. You can also check out everything we saw at the Marvel TV and Animation panel at New York Comic Con 2026.
