special deposit certificate; The new capacity of financing the renovation of hotels and tourism facilities in Yazd
Renovation of Hotels and Tourism Facilities in Yazd The head of the Investment and Economic Affairs Center of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts announced the readiness of this ministry to support the renovation of hotels and tourism facilities in Yazd province through special deposit certificates.
According to the report of Aria Heritage reporter, Ali Asghar Shalbafian, today, October 23, 1405, in the 118th meeting of the dialogue council between the government and the private sector, which was held at the Yazd Chamber of Commerce in the presence of the head of the Yazd Chamber of Commerce, a group of provincial officials and activists of the private tourism sector, he announced the readiness of this ministry to support the reconstruction of tourism facilities and existing hotels.
The head of the Center for Investment and Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, referring to the valuable capacity of empathy and interaction between different parts of Yazd province, stated: Empathy and dialogue between different parts of the province is a valuable capacity that should be appreciated. Because in some provinces, there is no such level of interaction and coordination, and this problem makes the process of decision-making and solving investors' problems difficult.
Declaring his readiness to support the renovation of tourism infrastructure in the province, he added: "We are ready to support the special deposit certificate for the renovation of existing tourism facilities and hotels, and Yazd province can participate in the implementation of this project if it wishes, by providing a subsidy for the profit of the facilities."
Emphasizing the importance of renovating and improving tourism complexes, Shalbafian said: Renovating these complexes can help preserve existing funds and increase the productivity of tourism capacities, and we hope that one of the results of this meeting will be the formation of practical cooperation to advance this issue in Yazd province.
He also considered one of the advantages of this method of financing is the possibility of faster access to financial resources compared to some other methods of financing and emphasized the necessity of using the existing capacities to support investors and improve the tourism infrastructure of the province.
In this meeting, Mojtaba Dastmalchian, the head of the Yazd Chamber of Commerce, also pointed out the impact of economic pressures and the reduction of trips on the activity of tourism units and stated: With the appearance of the smallest economic problems and difficulties, travel is no longer the priority of many families, and this issue leads to a decrease in domestic and foreign trips and the loss of a part of tourists.
Stating that the tourism industry has been affected by the consequences of these conditions, he added: A tourism complex may not have been directly damaged in terms of infrastructure, but due to the lack of passengers and reduced demand for services, it may face a drop in activity and a decrease in income.
The head of the Yazd Chamber of Commerce continued by emphasizing the necessity of practical support for economic operators: although laws have been provided to support these units and facilitate the conditions of their activities, in practice, the necessary support is not provided by some responsible institutions, and legal support, especially in the field of debt distribution and payment deferral, is not implemented as it should be.
Dastmalchian noted: In a situation where economic enterprises are facing a decrease in income and difficulty in providing current expenses, it is expected that the responsible institutions will cooperate more in the implementation of support policies so that activists in this field can overcome difficult economic conditions and continue their activities.
In this meeting, Asghar Nabil, the head of tourism commission of Yazd Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the need to ease investment conditions in the historical context of Yazd and stated: It is expected that the dialogue council between the government and the private sector will lead to specific operational decisions and output to solve investment problems in the field of tourism. Because some of the financial and administrative problems of the past still remain and action must be taken to resolve them.
Pointing to the importance of delegating authority to provincial managers, he added: Provincial managers have a more accurate knowledge of economic capacities, investors, and the conditions of project implementation, and they can make decisions about many plans more quickly and confidently; Therefore, increasing the authority of the province can help speed up the implementation of tourism projects and remove investment obstacles.
The head of the Tourism Commission of the Yazd Chamber of Commerce considered the creation of targeted incentives to be one of the requirements to revive the historical context and attract investors and stated: Creating investment incentives, banking facilities, tax discounts and reducing duties can increase the motivation of the private sector to invest in this area.
Nabil also listed the administrative strictures and limitations in financing among the obstacles to the restoration of the historical context and emphasized the need to review the administrative procedures and design support mechanisms that suit the needs of tourism activists.
Referring to the financial needs of hotels and tourism facilities, he noted: the six-month working capital facility does not meet the needs of hotels; Because the maintenance and renovation of equipment in this industry has high costs and it is necessary to design and implement support mechanisms considering the real conditions and needs of this sector.
