Delivery of 41 educational projects in Semnan; Completion of remaining projects by the end of the year

Mahdishahr- Governor of Semnan emphasized that during the last academic year we saw the utilization of 41 educational projects in the province, he said: the completion of the remaining projects is targeted by the end of this year.

Report of Mehr reporter, Mohammad Javad Koulivand, during the inauguration ceremony of the 12th grade school of Ostad Shahriari Mehdishahr before noon on Saturday, considered education as an investment for the future of the country and emphasized the necessity of developing educational spaces and realizing educational justice.

Referring to the status of school renovation projects in the province, he said: At the beginning of the activity, 78 schools needed demolition, reconstruction and renovation, and with the cooperation of the authorities, the process of their restoration accelerated.

Governor of Semnan stated that 18 educational projects were completed and delivered last year and added: 23 more projects have been put into operation since the beginning of this year and the number of projects delivered in these two years has reached 41.

Emphasizing the need to speed up the completion of the remaining projects, Kolivand clarified: the province's goal is to deliver the remaining projects in the field of school renovation by the end of this year; However, some projects may need more time due to contracting problems or implementation defects.

He also announced the implementation of Shahid Ajamian's plan in 185 schools of the province and stated: In the framework of this plan, measures have been taken, including the improvement and refreshment of educational spaces, the preparation of classes, and the improvement of the condition of sanitary facilities and heating and cooling facilities.

Pointing to the increase in appropriations in the area of school renovation and educational justice, Semnan Governor stated: the appropriations of this department increased from about 337 billion Tomans in 1403 to 632 billion Tomans in 1404, which shows a growth of about 87%.

Koulivand added: For the year 1405, the increase in the credits of this area has been targeted to about 730 billion tomans in order to continue the process of developing educational spaces and improving educational justice.
