Benab- Imam Juma Benab, referring to the enemy's nuclear threats, called for a proportionate response and strengthening of the country's deterrence with the opinion of the Supreme Leader and the Supreme National Security Council.
According to Mehr reporter, Ayatollah Seyyed Baqer Seidi, in this week's Friday prayer sermons, pointed to the intensification of military movements and increased tensions in the region, and warned against the possibility of the spread of conflicts and stated: "After failing in the political, economic and military fields, the enemy has turned to new threats and has recently spoken about the possibility of using nuclear weapons."
He stated that the enemy's military movements are increasing in order to exert pressure and threats, and added: If this trend continues, there is a possibility of war in the region and the authorities should adopt a suitable approach against threats according to the existing conditions.
The necessity of changing the approach against enemy threats
Emphasizing the need to review the way of facing threats, Imam Juma Bonab stated: The armed forces and officials of the Islamic Republic should not simply wait for the enemy's action and be satisfied with responding after each action. Rather, they should take the initiative according to the conditions.
Referring to the threats raised about the use of nuclear weapons against the country's infrastructure, the head of the Bonab Public Culture Council said: In the current situation, the serious demand of the people should be to adopt a deterrent and proportional approach against the enemy's threats.
Ayatollah Sidi emphasized: Any decision in this field must be made with the opinion of the Supreme Leader and the Supreme National Security Council. Because negligence and inaction against threats can provide the basis for the enemy's domination.
In another part of his speech, the representative of the people of East Azerbaijan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts considered the presence of people in gatherings, marches and gatherings as one of the effective factors in the failure of the enemies to achieve their goals and stated: The resistance and standing of the people has caused the enemies to retreat from achieving their desired goals.
Criticizing the approach of some domestic politicians, he said: It is surprising that some people always prescribe the option of retreat and escape, and during the President's trip to the United Nations, they pressure him to hold a meeting with his enemies.
Ayatollah Seidi, referring to the goals of the enemies towards the Islamic Republic, added: They consider the Islamic Republic to be a great obstacle to the continued existence of the Zionist regime, and this doubles the need to be vigilant against the approaches and plans of the enemy.
Imam Juma Bonab also congratulated the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) and celebrated Nurse's Day, and appreciated the efforts of nurses in caring for patients and providing medical services.
