Farid Fuladi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Brena Institute, said at the "Sustainability Song" event: "The sustainability of an organization is not achieved by mere survival, and survival must be along with forward development." He called financial resources the oxygen of the organization and emphasized that financing should be a main process within the organization, not dependent on a few micro sponsors. According to him, this process should be continuous and repeatable and should not put the organization at risk, resources should be diversified and organizations should show supporters what their efforts have achieved. Fuladi considered artificial intelligence as a unique opportunity for charitable institutions.

According to Ambassador Arjan, the "Sustainability Beat" event was held on Thursday, October 23, 1405, under the auspices of Navandish Afra Sponsors Management Institute and with the theme "Role of standards, sponsors and human capital in the sustainability of charitable organizations". As a part of this event, the discussion panel "Hamavai" was held with the presence of experts in the field of human resources and system development, managers of charity organizations and social activists.

Referring to the meaning of sustainability, Fuladi said in this panel: "When we say that an organization is sustainable, mere survival does not lead to sustainability, but survival should be along with forward development." "Institutions that aim to scale up and standardize show they want to prepare for the future."

He considered financial resources to be the most important factor of sustainability and added: "Financial resources are like oxygen without which your organization will not survive." Funding should be a core process within the organization. "Leaving financing to a few wise sponsors will not be enough for sustainability."

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Brena Institute said about the features of this process: "The first point is that the financing process is a continuous flow of repeatability and this flow does not put us at risk. Much is said about Kraad. The reason for the emphasis on Kraad is its stability and reproducibility.

He pointed out the role of social effectiveness in attracting support: "If our organizations want to have a sustainable flow, they must count on contributions that are based on social effectiveness. To show those who help from our organization what their efforts have achieved."

Fuladi also emphasized on the diversity of sources: "We have to diversify our sources. "I am sure that the organizations that have been resilient in the last year have had diverse financial sources."

He called public relations vital for charities and said: "Public relations is an important issue in businesses, but it is many times more important in charities. "It is public relations that introduces us to the market to attract sufficient resources."

In the final part of his speech, Fuladi talked about artificial intelligence: "For charitable institutions, artificial intelligence is a unique opportunity, because artificial intelligence makes it easier to build, but what to build is up to you. I hope that Afra will put more energy into artificial intelligence as soon as possible and give it as a gift to charitable institutions.

In this panel, Nasim Tehrani, an expert and consultant of systemization, said: "The existence of standards and systemization helps organizations in times of crisis. But in non-crisis situations, systemization also helps."

Referring to the human resources of NGOs, he added: "The resources of these organizations come from social resources that volunteers provide to us for free, but unlike commercial organizations, we do not pay them directly."

According to Tehrani, systemization helps to use these resources optimally: "Once we find a solution to a challenge, if we record the solution, we don't need to think from the beginning in the next crisis. In this way, the trust of the volunteer force is also gained more."

Behzad Abolalaei, a human resources expert and consultant, said: "One of the most important secrets of successful organizations in the world is management by competent leaders. According to the Gallup Institute, 75% of the reason why employees decide to stay or leave the organization comes down to the managers of that organization.

He added: "The fact that a person is benevolent and generous does not necessarily mean that he can handle the effective management of that institution." Pointing out that "ten percent of the world's people have enough qualifications to become a manager", Abul Ala'i considered the definition of the competency model as a condition for selecting competent managers: "If these qualifications are not determined, competent managers will not be selected."

Lily Arshad, social worker and activist, was another member present in the panel. He said: "For more than 20 years, experts have been interested in participating in NGOs. It is true that some volunteers cannot work with an institution all their life, but they can be counted on while they are with the institution.

He added: "In the last few years, the economic conditions and the feeling of insecurity caused us to have fewer volunteers, while most of the specialized work in this field is handled by young people."

Fatemeh Hosseinipour, a member of the Board of Directors of Barna Institute, told about the formation of this institute in another part of the event. According to him, Barna is the result of eight years of Afra's cooperation with charitable organizations and NGOs, and it is supposed to answer the challenges of these organizations with a new perspective, although it has an independent identity from Afra.

Hosseinipour did not see sustainability as merely providing resources for today and said that this concept means preparing for future needs and maintaining social impact. He emphasized that Barna does not want to replace supporters; The goal is for organizations to be able to attract sustainable support in a certain period of time. The member of the board of Brena also said that Afra's certificate of trust is one of the criteria for evaluating projects in this institution, and training in design and project management for organizations is also included in the program.

Working in the media field in Iran and probably in many countries is not an easy task, but the love and interest in news with all its problems is what has made me and many of my colleagues stuck.
