Bodybuilding federation election annulled by court ruling; new crisis in sports

The election of the Bodybuilding and Physique Federation has been declared void by a ruling of the Tehran General Civil Court. The election was held on 20 Mordad this year, and Mojtaba Maleki was elected federation president. However, a complaint from the former president has legally challenged the voting result.

The elections of the Federation of Bodybuilding and Bodybuilding were declared invalid by the court's decision.

According to "Verzeh Se", the elections of the Federation of Bodybuilding and Bodybuilding were held on August 20 of this year and Mojtaba Maleki was elected as the new head of the federation.

Abdul Mahdi Nasirzadeh, the former president of this federation, who was not allowed to participate in the elections by the implementation commission of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, filed a complaint and finally got the decision to cancel this federation.

This decision was issued by Branch 13 of the General Legal Court of Shahid Beheshti Judicial Complex in Tehran. The issued decision is preliminary and can be appealed within 20 days.

This vote was issued while the Iranian Federation was suspended by the World Federation and bodybuilding is in crisis these days.
