Member of National Security Committee Reacts to CENTCOM's New Claim: I Do Not Confirm the Transfer of 19 Million Barrels of Oil

A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, rejecting the latest claim by US Central Command (CENTCOM) about the removal of 19 million barrels of oil from the Strait of Hormuz, described these statistical fabrications as a continuation of Trump's claims and an attempt to create the impression of failed restrictions and downplay Iran's actions in the region.

A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Council, rejecting the new claim of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) about the withdrawal of 19 million barrels of oil from the Strait of Hormuz, considered these statistics to be a continuation of Trump's claims and an attempt to induce the failure of restrictions and downplay Iran's actions in the region.

Ali Ahmadi, a member of the Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, in a conversation with Ambassador Arjan, in response to the recent claim of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), said: "Previously, Trump used to announce various figures of several million regarding the passage of oil through the Strait of Hormuz, now CENTCOM repeats the same claims and I do not confirm the claim of the transfer of 19 million barrels of oil."

Regarding the goals behind such reports, he added: "The goal of these statistics is to induce the defeat of the restrictions on the Strait of Hormuz and to downplay Iran's actions."

A member of the National Security Commission of the Parliament explained the real situation of the movement of vessels and oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz: "Some oil tankers pass with the permission and coordination of Iran and pay tolls; Others try to cross secretly and smuggle by turning off the identification systems. "Currently, only 3 to 14 daily traffic is carried out through the Strait of Hormuz, and the passage of Iranian ships is also ongoing."
