Literary Figures Must Be Introduced in Today's Language
Hamadan – Deputy Director for Culture at the Hamadan Provincial Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance said: Our language and manner of expression in presenting literary heritage must suit the demands of the times.
Hamedan- The cultural deputy of the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Hamedan province said: Our language and style of expression to explain the literary heritage should be in accordance with the requirements of the times.
According to Mehr reporter, Majid Froutan on Tuesday morning at the conference commemorating Hafez Day, referring to the unique position of this great poet in the history of Iranian culture, said: Hafez is not only a poet, but also a thinker and a cultural institution builder, and taking advantage of his legacy requires going beyond the repetition of clichéd material and entering into the deep analytical layers of his thoughts in order to be able to extract from this sea of knowledge an answer to the problems of today's society.
Pointing to the necessity of transformation in the ways of dealing with literary masterpieces, he clarified: in Hafez's own words, we must "introduce a new plan" and our language and style of expression to explain the literary heritage must be appropriate to the requirements of the times, and he used new tools to introduce the thought of elders to different generations, from children and teenagers to university professors.
The cultural and media deputy of the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Hamedan province emphasized the need to link between literary capacities and society's priorities and added: in order to present new words, a link must be established between the needs and conditions of the society with the intellectual capacities of cultural masters, because otherwise the output of cultural activities will be nothing but repetition and will lose its impact on the audience.
While inviting literary and cultural activists to present innovative ideas, Frouten emphasized: All the elites and experts in this field are expected to present their ideas and suggestions for future programs so that with conflicting opinions and new perspectives, the ground for persuading the audience and developing cultural activities will be provided.
He also emphasized the importance of creating a platform for dialogue in the cultural space and said: We must allow different views and thoughts to be expressed in specific frameworks, and criticism and even differences of opinion, if they are directed in the right direction, are not only not a threat, but are considered the driving engine of cultural development.
In the end, referring to Hafez as a symbol of moderation, the cultural and media vice president of the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Hamedan province pointed out: If we consider Hafez as a symbol of moderation in thought and thought, we should model this approach in our conversations and collective activities in order to achieve a dynamic and responsive thinking towards the needs of today's society.
