Jask - Imam Juma of Ahl al-Sunnah Yakbani Jask, expressing his concern about the living conditions of fishermen and the insecurity in the sea, asked the authorities to take measures to support disadvantaged fishermen and ensure the security of fishing activities.

According to Mehr reporter, Maulvi Rashid Bandar emphasized the need to learn from the history of the past in his Friday prayer sermons this week in Yakbani Jask neighborhood and stated: The Holy Quran invites people to study the history of the predecessors and learn lessons from the past events, and on this basis, we condemn this misplaced move.

He also referred to the situation of the Muslim people of the Republic of Azerbaijan and asked them to preserve their life and honor with perseverance and added: God willing, the dawn of victory is near, falsehood will disappear and people will soon see the result of its destruction.

The need to support fishermen and ensure the security of the sea

Addressing the country's officials and the military and law enforcement forces, Imam Juma Ahl-e-Sunnah of Yakbani Jask neighborhood said: "The sea is of vital importance to the coastal people, and many families make a living only through fishing." Therefore, a solution should be considered to support poor fishermen.

Pointing to the attack on a fishing barge in the range of eight to 10 miles from Sirik, Bandar said: Two days ago, a barge whose activity was completely fishing, in a situation where people are facing many problems and hardships, was attacked and the three sons of the captain of this barge were seriously injured.

Criticizing the injury of civilians and hardworking people at sea, he said to America: When you claim that you are monitoring the smallest movements in the region, why is the presence and activity of these civilian people who are trying to secure a morsel of bread not be prevented so that we do not witness such incidents?

Imam Juma, Ahl al-Sunnah of Yakbani Jasak neighborhood, continued: These people go to the sea to earn a halal livelihood, but they are exposed to attack and their families face heavy losses and sufferings.

The insecurity of the sea has increased the concern of fishermen

Emphasizing the need to immediately deal with the problems of deprived and hard-working fishermen in the region, Bandar stated: the living conditions of this group are becoming more difficult day by day and the authorities should take effective and practical measures to solve their problems.

He pointed out: After the recent incident, a number of fishermen have announced that they will stop their activities for the time being due to concerns about insecurity in the sea. An issue that can affect the livelihood of families dependent on fishing more than in the past.
