Police Operating in Line with the Revolution Are Law-Abiding and Respect Citizens' Rights

Simorgh - Mazandaran's Chief of Ideological-Political Affairs for the Police described the police, in line with the Islamic Revolution, as an organization with operational capability, organizational discipline, ethical integrity, and commitment to citizens' rights.

According to Mehr reporter, Hojjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Ismail Hosseini, on Monday evening, at the honoring ceremony for the families of the police command of Simorgh city, referring to the position of the family in the teachings of the Holy Qur'an, said: "The family is not only a private institution, but the first environment for human education, the transfer of moral values, and the formation of the spirit of responsibility in society."

He stated that kindness and mercy are divine signs in common life, and added: mutual respect, morality, religious education and attention to the rights of others, starts at home and its effects will be visible in social behavior and work environment.

Referring to the special job conditions of police officers, the head of political ideology of Mazandaran province clarified: police missions, due to irregular working hours, presence in difficult situations and the necessity of continuous preparation, require healthy and supportive family support; A subject that can play an effective role in maintaining mental peace and concentration of employees.

The authority of the police depends on the rule of law and the protection of people's rights

In another part of his speech, he described the Islamic Revolution-level police as a group with operational capacity, organizational discipline, moral health and adherence to citizens' rights, and said: ensuring public order, legally confronting factors that disturb security, preventing crimes and protecting the peace of society are the basic missions of the police.

Hojjat-ul-Islam Hosseini Mazandarani added: Police authority becomes tangible for people when they see its effects in the security of neighborhoods, peace of families, respect for citizens' rights and fair and legal treatment of offenders.

He pointed out: democracy and determination in law enforcement are not in conflict with each other, but the realization of sustainable security requires the combination of these two approaches.

Promoting Quranic culture in the families of police officers

The political head of Mazandaran police command stressed the necessity of institutionalizing Quranic culture in families and stated: Quranic family cannot be summed up only in appearances or holding special programs, but intimacy with Quran, adherence to morals, raising responsible children, strengthening dialogue and avoiding violence in family relationships are among the most important practical manifestations of this culture.

He continued: Paying attention to the cultural, educational and welfare needs of the families of law enforcement officers should be in accordance with the real conditions of their lives and should be followed in the form of continuous and effective programs in order to provide more balance between work and family responsibilities.

Referring to the role of the armed forces in protecting the country, Hojjatul Islam Hosseini Mazandarani said: Defense of territorial integrity and dealing with external threats, along with the mission of the police to ensure public order and combat crimes, are two complementary parts in maintaining national security.

He considered the development of indigenous technologies, improvement of operational readiness and continuous training as important components of defense deterrence, and referring to the defense capability of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he claimed that these capabilities have caused the grounding of the world's largest army, that is, the United States.

In the final part of his speech, the head of political ideology of Mazandaran provincial police command pointed out the position of the religious authority in the structure of the Islamic Republic of Iran and said: The religious authority has a specific place in the constitution and in the intellectual system of the Islamic Revolution, it is considered the central leadership of the system.

Emphasizing the importance of discernment in facing seditions, he added: following the leadership should be considered in line with the realization of the goals and policies outlined by the Imams of the Islamic Revolution and with a correct understanding of the conditions and issues of the society.
