Sardar Sharafi: The Martyrdom of One Security Defender Brings Hundreds More Determined Forces to the Field

Sanandaj – Deputy to the Deputy Coordinator of FARAJA said: The martyrdom of security defenders not only does not weaken the will of the armed forces but, by strengthening the spirit of sacrifice, increases the motivation to defend the country.

According to Mehr reporter, Sardar Mohammad Sharfi, on Monday morning at the Kurdistan Province Police Martyrs Summit in Sanandaj, honored the memory of the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, the holy defense, the defenders of the shrine and the police martyrs, and thanked the organizers of the Kurdistan National Congress of 5,536 Martyrs and those involved in organizing the Police Martyrs Summit.

Referring to the place of martyrdom in Islamic teachings, he stated: Martyrdom is one of the highest values in religious teachings, and the Holy Qur'an, in numerous verses, introduces mujahidat in the way of God with life and wealth as the basis of human salvation.

Referring to the Qur'anic verses about the reward of Mujahideen, the deputy deputy coordinator of Faraja added: In Islamic culture, martyrs have a high position due to the sacrifice of their lives in the defense of religion and human values, and their families should also pay attention to this great honor.

Stating that the culture of self-sacrifice and martyrdom throughout the history of Islam has always inspired Mujahideen, Sharfi continued: This spirit has played an important role in standing against the enemies at different times, from the beginning of Islam and the Karbala incident to the victory of the Islamic Revolution, eight years of holy defense and recent wars.

He said: The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, from the army and the IRGC to Faraja and the Ministry of Defense, have stood up to protect the independence of the country, the values of the revolution and the security of the people, and the fighters and veterans have shown many sacrifices in this direction.

Referring to the effect of martyrdom on the morale of the country's defenders, Faraja's deputy coordinator said: The enemy must know that the flag of defense will not remain on the ground with the martyrdom of one person. Rather, more forces are determined to continue his path and assume the responsibility of defending the homeland.

The narrative of finding the body of a police martyr after 9 days

Pointing to the people's presence in the night gatherings and their support for the country and the system, Sharfi said: the people did not leave the square in difficult days and even under bombardment and showed that they stand to defend Iran and preserve the country's achievements by their presence.

Stating that the police forces consider themselves committed to guarding the security and continuing the path of the martyrs since the time they put on their uniforms, he pointed to the account of one of the police martyrs in the attack on the location of Faraja employees and said: During this attack, a number of employees were martyred and the body of one of the martyrs was not found for 9 days.

The deputy coordinator of Faraja continued: While the efforts to find the body of this martyr were unsuccessful, his daughter came to the scene of the accident and pointed to a spot among the debris. After moving the debris in the same area, the body of the martyr was found.

He considered this narrative as a reminder of the emotional bond of families with their martyrs and emphasized: The families of the martyrs should look with pride at the path their loved ones have chosen and know that the memory of the martyrs continues to inspire security defenders.

Testimony should strengthen the will and responsibility

Emphasizing that the goal of the armed forces is not only to reach the status of martyrdom, Sharfi clarified: the culture of martyrdom should give the forces courage, dignity, steadfastness and the power to stand against threats so that they can defend the country and the people with a strong will.

He added: "The armed forces keep their promise to the martyrs in the way of protecting the security of the society and defending human values and do not allow their sacrifices to be forgotten."

Referring to the words of Amirul Momineen Ali (AS) about the position of the military forces in the society, the deputy deputy coordinator of Faraja said: The armed forces should be the strong fortress of the people and this responsibility is realized by having faith, authority, fortitude and professional skills.

Sharfi pointed out: Armed forces can guarantee the security and comfort of the society when they have acquired the necessary ability and competence to defend the people and remain firm in fulfilling their responsibilities.

He also emphasized the necessity of providing the ground for the development of martyrs' children and said: "The children of martyrs must achieve competence in the fields of science, economy and management and, relying on their competences, play a role in the important responsibilities of the country and continue the path of their martyred fathers and mothers."

In the end, the deputy deputy coordinator of Faraja thanked the families of the martyrs, the media and all the people who play a role in perpetuating the memory of the martyrs through cultural and media activities.
