The first look at Taylor Sheridan's Tulsa King spin-off has arrived. Paramount+ released a teaser for the upcoming series Frisco King starring Samuel L. Jackson on Thursday morning.

In Frisco King, Jackson plays Russell Lee Washington Jr., and this time he rules the Texas countryside. The series will air on December 18 with two episodes followed by new episodes every Friday.

Written entirely by Sheridan, Frisco King follows seasoned New Orleans gangster Lee Washington as he lands in Frisco, Texas and discovers a womanizer's playground hidden beneath the polished surface of suburban America. Recruiting an ambitious supervisor, a loyal driver, and a growing network of eccentric partners, Lee turns small efforts into big business. But, each new score raises the stakes, and as his influence grows, so do the stakes, forcing Lee to stay one step ahead. Frisco may not know it yet, but his new king has arrived.
