252 Tons of Wheat Seed Prepared for Autumn Planting in Semnan Province

Shahroud – The Director of Semnan Province's Agricultural Support Services Company announced the preparation of 252 tons of cleaned wheat seed to meet farmers' needs for autumn planting in the province.

Shahroud- The director of Semnan Agricultural Support Services Company announced the preparation of 252 tons of treated wheat seeds to meet the needs of the farmers of the province in autumn cultivation.

Mahmoud Khodabakhshi said in a conversation with Mehr reporter: So far, 252 tons of wheat seeds have been stored in the organizational warehouse of the Agricultural Support Services Company in Shahroud Bojari city and are ready to be delivered to farmers and operators across the province.

Referring to the varieties of prepared seeds, he added: Out of the total number of seeds cultivated, 135 tons of certified Mihan variety, 55 tons of Mihan Madri variety, 32 tons of Hiran Madri variety and 30 tons of Hiran variety have been certified.

The director of the Agricultural Support Services Company of Semnan Province stated that the operation of planting and seed preparation is still continuing and stated: With the continuation of this process, the amount of prepared seeds will increase to meet the needs of the farmers of the province.

Khodabakhshi considered timely supply and preparation of wheat seeds as one of the important measures to support the agricultural sector and added: This measure is done with the aim of providing preparations for autumn planting and farmers' access to the required seeds throughout the province.
